Only the snowboarders could find more than a couple of redeeming qualities in that one. Consider this -- its total take at the box office would only cover about 3% of the cost it took to make Avatar...

okay! way to go on the TRON quote. If i had enough money my next MINI would be a TRON MINI.
I was stumped on Miah's quote. But i haven't seen that movie.

you guys are 2 for 2. if u get this trifecta i'll have a special prize at the Meat & Eet.

by the way i trust you are doing this by strait brain knowledge and NOT using the internet.

"Oh, how it pains me to do this."
"Wait, I still function"
"Wanna bet?"
____________

"Are you not entertained? You had me at hello. You want the truth you can't handle the truth."
_____________

"If you want to get a girl to like you read her poetry."
_____________

good luck fellas.

The middle one is easy -- Shark Tale

The first one sounds like something from the Transformers but not sure which one...

The third one has me stumped.

We happened to have Wheel of Fortune on in the background on the kitchen TV this evening. The woman in the bonus round figured out the puzzle, and guess what the grand prize was? A new MINI Cooper Clubman.

Those who have been troubled by the cold start rattle and below-zero throttle freeze-up (like me) may be interested in this comment on MotoringFile.com today.

"Gabe Jan 13th, 2010 Link
Any idea if this results in a redesign of the chain tensioner and components that have been so troublesome (the infamous cold start chatter)?

We will have a full report on that later this week. But suffice to say I would wait for a March build for more reasons than one."

Yep, lots of really interesting news coming out about the 2011 R56 design refresh. The Valvetronic system integration that has already been leaked may represent an acknowledgment of the need for an improved design.

Have you experienced the throttle body condensation issues with Lolly, or was that frustration limited to your prior experience with Molly?

I've had no problems of any kind with Lolly (who has no turbo); fingers crossed at 15,000+ miles -- notably, no throttle icing and no cold start rattle.

The conditions for Lolly are different, though. She's been in a pretty tight garage since cold weather arrived. Molly's turbo got thoroughly chilled in the windswept Olds garage.

I have the CSDR (cold start death rattle).
it is annoying and happens at 3k revs. so i just try to stay below that to keep it quiet until it warms up then its pedal to the metal baby.
I kicked in my Sport Function yesterday for some extra fun. I love zipping thru traffic up here in the Chicago area.
