Time to think exhaust. Has anyone heard that Ireland Engineering exhaust in person? I'm not 100% sold on it, but I like the price. I really like the Invidia sound, but not the price tag. Any comments would be awesome!

 

Not sure if I've heard the IE exhaust up close and personal and if I did, I wouldn't have made the association. I guess I'm guilty of paying closer attention to the R50 exhaust music.

 

I'm considering upgrading my exhaust. I know a guy at AutoXCooper.com and he has suggested a DDM exhaust. I guess it's a decent price $850+/-.
It gives comparison videos between stock and upgrade for an R56. Honestly I couldnt tell the difference maybe its the tiny *** speaker on this netbook. But it does boost HP 15-20. I like the sound of the Borla exhaust. I've been watching MINI exhaust videos on you tube and I've been trying to decide which way to go. But I do know this...I want people to say "What's that?" (as I come from behind and pass them) "What was that...I don't know but it sounded cool!"
Yea... i want that "WOW!" factor. It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine!

Spent the afternoon washing winter sludge off the garage floor...

Okay, to be honest I spent probably an hour washing the floor and 3 hours doing a thorough detailing of the MINI -- inside and out.

It was therapeutic. I'm feeling SO much better. Now I can truly have a happy holiday.

 

And Shadowfax is so much more at ease I used the EIM-prize detailing cloth the other day to wipe the misty sludge off Lolly, and she felt the same way

Starting at 11:47 am local today (Monday) our available daylight hours of motoring start increasing every day.

Sweet.

 

My son is playing a 4X4 racing game on the Wii system. There is a classic MINI in the race and yes it is monster trucked out. My son has raced with it and also painted it to look like mine.

 

We have a Wii. Can you tell me the name of the game? I may have to purchase it just for the MINI in it! Sounds like fun.

That's got to be one of the best Christmas decorations ever. I love the awesome Black Eye Purple tree!

 

It's called "Monster 4x4 World Circuit" It's an ok game. You can get it at Wal-Mart for $20 and it comes with its own wheel.
There is also "Mini Desktop Racing". I havn't played that one but I bet its better than the 4x4.

 

On a side note:
the web site that I went to to find the MINI game says-
"This game puts the fun back into the MINI"

These people are not MINI owners and I'd have to say their only experience with a MINI has been the via this game.

I can't imagine a MINI ever being boring. Heck, I have fun/good time just looking at my MINI.

When I had the chance to buy the game it was packaged with another 'crap' game for $29.
I guess if you want real MINI driving action....just go drive your own!!!

 

If y'all haven't been outside this morning, be prepared (in IC area, at least). My wife's Fit slid to the bottom of the driveway. Grocery trip cancelled, had to sand the pavement to get back up.

 

Quite nasty here, cant imagine it'd be fun to get out of the Valley your guys are in now in Coralville.
