I didn't install the Cam, as we didn't have a way to make 100% sure that it was indeed a Schrick Cam and not a custom grind, we're doing a little more research, until then, i'll be using the stock cam. (I bought this Cam from a NAM member, and it came in a Custom Cam box, so... we didn't wanna chance anything.)

I'll be reflashing to stock software to make the comparision even with the other two cars that have the head, and i'll post #'s when I have them.

I just have to chime in here and say that I was with Rustyboy when he got the head installed and WOW it really is a work of art....

The turbojet engine sound he is talking about is absolutely un-real...if people with an Alta intake think their s/c is loud, they are in for a suprise when they hear this head!

Highly considering getting one now when funds permit!

If it bugs you OK, you’ve said so… but also recognize that others freedom of expression should also be respected. Also consider that any good Christian would surely forgive a 'blasphemer'.

Irreverent humor has been around a long time, and its not going away any time soon. I'd say this head thing has been said with tongue firmly planted in cheek & no malice.

You can also be thankful you're not Muslim. Its freakin open season on their religion, and no one seems to pipe up… Just imagine if instead of “Jesus” or “Mosses”, it was the "praise be to Allah" head! If the cartoons in Denmark were any indication, we'd have to send El into hiding along with Solomon Rushdie.

A thick skin & a good sense of humor go a long way – in general.

EDIT:
It seems clear that I didn't express my thoughts as well as I'd hoped to

Although it may appear otherwise Roach's humor wasn't lost on me... I just didn't read hornguy's post in the same light. Wrong poster to quote or whatever...? My intent was... I didn't want folks feeling they had to change the monikers attributed to the heads just for the sake of being PC.

Maybe that clears it up.

The Type R designation is for Revolution Mini and was said tounge in cheek much like the seperate subforum request.

Now about the Jesus thing....

This is one of the Mini's the is installed on.

So lets get into the fun part...

Owned by a Jew living square in the Bible Belt near one of the largest Baptist Churches in the US.

Car turned 6666 miles on Friday the 13th.

Runs a Jesus Head designed by el dablito.

Since most folks don't believe the power this head opened up...

Drum Roll.....

Stock Cam and ECU, only revlimiter has been raised.

16% Pulley...

Stahl header, Random Cat, 3" back

and the dyno sheets says......

While we get to that...this is a picture of the Tech that put the head on...

Since you waited this long....

See the way curve has issues at 6400RPM due to the stock tuning....Just what till yuo see what we can find with proper tuning.

Good Idea! Not seeing the scale for your air/fuel I would hesitate running your mini on the street at higher RPM. It looks like you go wicked lean at 7200. Good numbers though I would of liked to see a STOCK RPM limiter run. Cheers!

It's running incredibly rich at the upper RPM, in the neighborhood of 10/1. Dumps fuel in as the RPMs reach the upper end of the ECU's tables to protect the engine.

Sorry, Scanner cuts off part of the page.

Look at the dyno sheet in the very first post of this thread. My car had the stock ECU and stock rev limiter.

Nathan,

I sure love the way your car looks. Are those the same wheels that you had at AMVIV.

I have some new 18" RO_JA rotary forged two piece formula 7's arriving Monday.

Only pulley and full exhaust? I'm assuming intake? Nothing else power-related?

Have all of these jesus-head dyno pulls been on the same dyno.....

Thanks, those are nto the same wheels I had at AMVIV. Those were Fikse's, these are now BBS's custom finished. I have a problem with wheels...well, more like a fetish. 6 sets wheels, 9 sets tires.

Yes, there is a CAI, Craven Speed. There were 400cc injectors, pulled before dyno runs, but I kept throwing rich codes so they have been swapped out to stock for now. No more codes, so far.

No they have not. Mine was done in Lewisville TX at Real Performance Motorsports and backed up at the same day with a 229.4 at Dallas Mustang. I went for a 3rd check the next day at ATS Motorsports in Denton TX but they were having issues with the dyno.

I've looked at that picture many times. Poor girl spilled water all over her shirt.
I too have spent a few days with that picture in the background. But thats another story.

Ahh. I should add....

I have handed my keys over to two local Mini enthusiasts for their impressions. GoodFinder and FUEGO. Ask them to report their impressions of the power and driveability. They are both NAM members.

Kiddn aside...I have a dyno delta baseline TODAY at 196whp/157tq...sucks Don't know if my SC is takin a vacation in Florida (I keep finding pristine yellowish oil residue in my DFIC not from motor) and/or the Unichip isn't doin squat...

Regardless, I'm looking forward to the "Heysoos Head" to cure my need for speed...

OT...I'm a God Fearing Christian so I choose to rename this hot cylinder head "Heysoos"...but for those of you who think it's ok to insult the Christians, then I say be fair and challenge you to insult the black/hispanics/women/muslims while you're at it...
