Not Fireballed

and a really stupid ban. I can mention lots of vendors that don't pay add fees here as I run into them, and I do. Just if I do this one, it gets blocked. I think the personal history here is blinding NAM to the appearent contradition here, but as we all get what we pay for, we'll all just have to live with it.

Matt

ps, hay Longboard, any new news?

The deference (or lack thereof) is [virtually? ] palpable

The sensation = this thread has been squelched - due to the non-spoken-of, aforementioned.

More than stupid, it is downright foolish! Anyone seen all of the new sign ups over at MM? Lotsa screen names I recognize. And I'd hazzard to guess most of these are due to the lack of open discussion ON THIS FORUM. Its called shooting yourself (and the community) in the foot. But I guess ego's are more important -rant over-

Yea, well, eventually NAM will either realize that they need to cut down on the restrictions, or other forums will become more popular, and in the end, like you said, they will have shot themselves in the foot. Either way, in the mean time we'll head over to MM for the privilege of being able to talk openly about modifications...

I wouldn't say squelched...

but there's a lul as Longboard gets his ducks in a row, and now everyone on the west coast is heading to AMVIV....

I'm sure that as more results are there to be posted, we'll see some more action. And for those that can't figure out the clues on the top of page 3, just PM me with your e-mail.

To be honest, the ban is an inconvinience more than anything else. It doesn't stop the references to El, it just makes it more difficult for us to discuss what will be discussed anyway!

Well, it didn't help that I didn't understand the reference originally! I don't know much about El, so the name didn't mean much to me, that's where I got Fireballed! from though... I've been contacted via PM and figured it out on my own from there though, i'm currently exchanging e-mails with El :-).

Not squelched?

If it weren't squelched I wouldn't have to look elsewhere to see the photo's I've seen of the header in production.

Your diplomacy is commendable. I'm not as charitable.

Well, as I have no idea what even started all of this, it's hard for me to offer an opinion. It all seems a bit silly though. From what I can gather, he didn't pay vendor fees and thus his name can no longer even be mentioned? If NAM want's to eliminate it's registered users because they go elsewhere to talk openly, that's fine. I don't think companies like M7 and the rest of the registered vendors would care to pay whatever they pay though if NAM loses half it's users to a site like MM :-\.

All good things take time.

We have been very busy getting the header and 3" exhaust done for AMVIV. The system was designed using all Burns stainless products. Including their amazing collector and ultra light mufflers.

The whole system is a work of art fabricated by a master. I will post picks and sound clips soon along with Dyno numbers.

I also have a Coolingmist progressive W/M injection system to install. I hope to do that tommarow night and then drive to AMVIV on Friday morning. I should be one tired puppy on Friday.

If you are going to AMVIV please look me up. I shouldn't be hard to find.

Don't feel bad...I don't even have a business on the ground and yet I can't talk about my future "planned" ********kit project without becoming a vendor or the thread gets pulled...

What's MM? Michigan Mini?

I'd like to answer to the afirmative, but fear the thread might get eddited for "promotion" of a "competing" site. Sucky times these are indeed.... I HATE p-u-s-s-y footing around (geez, is the 'bad' word checker is set on HI), but the lines are so blurred & application of forum rules so arbitrary that its difficult to know what's acceptible & wot's not.

Keep yer chin up Sid. One way or another this too shall pass. I'm sure your non-company ********kit will rock if and when it comes to fruition. In the mean time... miss your posting more here, but we know where to find ya .

Sorry, I'm as bad as anyone for getting way O/T here. Wasn't this thread about 231.9WHP? Longboard, I know there's only so much you have access to on your own. The unmentionable one must either send to you or post elsewhere, and that just slow's the flow. When you can post more please do

EDIT: Just notice which number post of mine this was... innocent coincidence LOL

Sweet! I'm looking forward to reading more about your set-up. Can someone PM a link to where there is more open discussion about these products please?

Thanks!
