apples to apples

Understood - My motor made the same kind of power pryor to my new head (192whp) with similar mods. Don't get me wrong, I love my 218hp. But 250hp is in another league...

This car was abnormally strong to begin with...

Maybe it should be that the dyno reads abnormally high to begin with.

I am first in line rooting for Longboards Cooper to break 250/260/275/300WHP.
Like many here though, I reserve the right to be skeptical.
I don't live that far away from where Longboards car was dynoed so before I commence "*****-canning" my pile, I would first make a trip into OC to compare dynos.

Wow John, am I detecting sarcasm in your comment? I would have expected a "tuner" such as yourself to know that there is no way my car will hit 300.

Not even with the Jesus Head.

193 before the head

231 after with the Jesus head installed.

Same dyno

3 degrees between days.

All that matters is the delta

Cant wait to see the new deltas across the rev range and of course @ 6900 and @ 8000.

Will you be fitting the items individually to see what achieves what deltas i.e as is with cam, then with header, then with new ex system or are you just fitting all of it at once.

I just hope you haven't hit the wall.

Good Luck and Enjoy

Hey Longboard don't think about all those eyes looking at you when you come around to the water box at Las Vegas Speedway in two Fridays, there will be no pressure on you when you roll into pre stage and then slowly into stage and then bring the rpm up to what the boss has told you to launch at,

THE PRESSURE WILL BE ON WHEN YOU DROP THAT CLUTCH

Because some of us Mini owners are going to be thinking is he really going to run 108mph weighing 2700lbs.

And please dont think about me waiting 4000 miles away to hear or receive a text what you've run.

Any chance of getting weighed before hand??

You sure sound worried Paul. Have you looked in my gallery? My car is not a drag car. My car is a road car. I still have the stock clutch and will need to drive my car back to So Cal with the wife.

So, no need to worry. At least not about me . I know a secret

Same here my car is not a drag car either has full interior etc, we went to were they filmed the Top gear show the other Saturday with 120 other Minis.

But I can understand you not wanting to run it with a stock clutch and open diff, I'm sure you can get a few tips of Isellem how to hook up an open diff car.

Isn't that what AAA breakdown cover is for
