Forums are supposed to promote the free exchange of ideas and information, not restrict it. It's absolutly hilarious that we have to go to these lengths to get information on a product that isn't even being advertised. I spoke to he who shall not be named last night for over an hour on the phone. He has some amazing things onthe horizon. We are at the dawn of a new age of Mini Tuning

Longboard where are you looking to go with your car performance wise? Do you have a number in mind? Is this primarily a street car?

Hey Longboard! I was just curious, have you been past or 'visited' the street Via Burgos in Mission Viejo recently? If so, I think I saw you!!! Awesome car and congrats on the numbers you are getting! Amazing! I am in awe.

I thought I had posted a question regarding the head -

What are the intake/out take flow numbers of the "shall not be named" head?

I think he meant to say this, "Okay, but for the retarded, MMMC?"

Or "Okay, but for the retarded, what is MMMC?"

He was calling himself retarded, and those others that don't know what MMMC is. (Which would include me!)

Ahhh, I see..that dropped comma made all the difference. Michigan MINI Motoring Club (MMMC) can be found at www.michiganmini.org and look in Modification Central.

Give HWSNBN a call...

he's got the flow numbers on lots of heads. And HWSNBN is a Harry Potter reference... He-Who-Shal-Not-Be-Named...... Erik from Helix and I were talking about it, and we're gonna stick with the HWSNBN acronym....

Anyway, the head was there, on a table, for all to look at. He'll show the flow numbers to any that ask, and I think you'll see the head and other parts coming out of other shops, some of whom do pay vendor fees! This is bound to get real fun!

Matt

I've got an appointment with *HWSNBN* tomorrow (tues) at the shop where he does his dyno testing (AutoWave).
I'll be doing a baseline run on my Cooper and we will see what we can do from there.
BTW, my 04 MCS JCW pulled 218 whp last January on a DynoJet about 75 miles south of here.
...and I get to drool all over the drag car!
This should be interesting...

That head, yes, that very head you may have fondled, is now living between my valve cover and block. Don't worry, the drool and fingerprints were cleaned before install.

Do you mean to say you had a jesus head installed also? Do you have any before and after dyno gains to share? Was Longboard Mini's results "typical" of this magical piece? Details details we need details!

Yes I have the same head but I broke something when playing around on the street in front of the dyno shop. No dyno today.

Not 100% sure what all I broke and why yet. Want to be sure of all factors involved before relaying issue. Sorry, but I've seen how a shred of info can be manipulated here on NAM. Once all the involved parties have looked at their parts and determine why the issue occured then I will be comfortable in discussing it on NAM.
