Nuzzo doesn't have MoTec... at least when i had it here about 3-4 months ago... he does have a standalone but its not a MoTec.

 

So what standalone is it? Cause those velocity stacks in the hyperlink look sweet. I'll run one but don't know what my options are anymore....plus, I don't want to spend $5-6K for one either.

Nuzzo has or had, some custom fuel injection system that one of the team memebers created. I remember that it was something originally for marine use. In otherwords it was originally created for boats... i can't remember what the name was maritech or something like that... i don't know that a shot in the dark

My mistake. I was aware he had switched to a stand alone, I just assumed it was MoTec since that is what a lot of people go with.

Honestly i have looked that car over heavily... and personally it looks like a hack job... under the hood is terrible... his exhaust is bad... also, i think there is something wrong with his fuel cell... that or the car gets horrific gas mileage. A friend of mine drove that car at PIR at the rolex race and ran out of gas twice because the gauge doesn't work and they calcualations for how many gallons per lap consumed was wrong... our spec cars (with more mods) get about twice as good of mileage or... the fuel pick up in his fuel cell doesn't efficently pick up all of the fuel... anyways...

 

I just wanted to say "Hi" and that is was too bad we couldn't meet up today. I had no idea you worked there. At least you got to meet my buddy Mike. Maybe next time.

Tonight I dropped off my car at Fireballed. I guys were nice enough to store my Benz over the weekend while I went to Scottsdale, AZ and also they met me late tonight for me to switch cars and to leave the Mini for the head and cam kit. Monday will be the Pre dyno and removal of the old head. I'm guessing the car should be ready Wed or Thursday. I will keep everyone up to date on the post dyno and my thoughts. It should be fun!

 

well ya got to meet my girlfriend! LOL! ya i have actually known your buddy mike for a couple of years! And i sold Justin his car and we have been friends ever since!

I heard that there was a mario at front and then i went to go outside to catch you guys and you were already buzzing down the road!

 

Yeah Mike said you were a cool guy and he has know you for a while. I would like it for next time I'm out there we can all go to Firebird. I will have my car dialed in by then. You will have to teach me how to launch this thing in the 1/4mile.

Well the car is ready today and the guys at FTB said it pulls hard and I should be very happy with the results. The only thing left to do is to put the car on a post dyno and for some tuning which will be Friday. I can wait to drive it and feel the difference. Friday works well for me because I really don't live that close to FBT and I will need someone to give me a ride down there. I'm one step closer to having it completed. I wonder what I will do next.
