Friday works well for me because I really don't live that close to FBT and I will need someone to give me a ride down there. I'm one step closer to having it completed. I wonder what I will do next.

I'm looking forward to your response on your new mods. I live close to FBR and am seriously thinking of getting their ECU flash. I like that they can tune it in house.

If Hubie or Tuls had said that they had run a 10.62 @ 128 with a 1.69 60ft shifted at 8500 but missed the 4th to 5th shift and all this with a stock head cam valve springs and retainers and rockers, I would of got off the phone and said what a load of B/S, but as i was there and helped take the head of and put the used and ugly stock head back on, I can defintley say its true just like the dyno figures quoted.

Today is the day, right? We'll get to see the dynos for:
> Mariokart's car BEFORE the Fireballed tune
> same car, AFTER the Fireballed tune
> same car, AFTER a Larini header added (and BEFORE Fireballed head)
> same car, AFTER Fireballed head and Schrick cam
all within the space of about a month?

I hope that's right. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the tune, the header and the head/cam -- in that order -- each really DO.

The pre dyno includes the Larini header, honestly I don't think the header gave me much mabe a 4 foot advantage. I was dead even with my buddy all weekend. We must have raced 50 times. After the header I was 1/2 a car Mini ahead. I'm sure the header will shine with the new Head and Cam becaue there will be more flow.
Oh, and this is all in the span of a 6 days not a month
I will be leaving work soon, if I can find a ride from Ventura to Torance. (60 miles)
M

He has 15% pulley, Alta intake with tube, Larini exhaust and smaller super sticky tires.

I let him pull on me:)

I was able to drive Mario's car before and after the header. It definately had more torq. The problem when we raced the 50 or so times was that the weight was never the same. we had an extra person in the car, either his or mine. The car definately sounds good with the header. I think he will see some good results with the head and cam.

Yes, 50 times or 150. Thats all we did for 3 days straight. I'm sure your girlfriend loved every moment of 100mph lane changes. Mike is right the sound is awesome, it sounds like a F1 car.
Well, I'm off to lunch and to pick up my car.
Wish me luck.

it drives exactly the same... just gets there faster .... more punch more fun... etc... 41 WHP is a nice add on...

I'd say the low end gains are the most noticeable... but up top it's great too...

accually I think Mario should should answer this... so.... Mario?
