Drivetrain M62 SC on the MINI is reality

But there's no room.....
the SC, altanatorand A/C compressor take all the space for belt drive accessories. If you use the 62 and the cooper pump, where would you put the cooper pump? There's no room for it.

good ****.....that thing is a beast....guy in my shop has one and we're gonna do some stuff to it soon.
Hey Spidey, if you don't mind, would you keep us updated with sporadic 'teases' on the progress of your monster? I read back through the thread this morning, and I appreciate how you've repeatedly attempted to avoid any promises about "numbers", while at the same time 'confessing' what you hope to achieve. You've done a good balancing act!
And kudos to DDM for not making any promises, other than to work out the kinks, and report what they achieve. As we have seen several times before, developers seem to get jumped if they overpromise and underdeliver, and DDM have demonstrated great restraint in their public pronouncements. Good for them!

That's a good man in my book. I will be a patient grasshopper waiting and know that what we see will be worth the wait.

My original post was just a poke fun thing. Wasn't intended to be serious.

I miss my MINI
I keep wanting to go out for a "motor" and my baby is gone at least for another 3-4 weeks..... all in the name of science..... for a good cause.... I do need a support group though

Ugh! I lost Jango for 2 days while he was in for service! I even had a new 3-series as a loaner. I feel for you! I guess that's the price of being an early adopter!
Much like the MINI buying process, the wait seems like forever now, but in a few weeks you will have the motoring joy back (in force
) and you will have the distinct pleasure of pointing to your huge supercharger, looking at us and crying "Nah Nah Nah... I've got one and you don't!"
