Drivetrain Who wants to see proof that a part works?
Scott you have a good memory and yes there were issues with the first two versions with people trying to install the units themselves for the first time . I spent a good bit of time on the phone for sure. Once we finally gave in and went to the CNC end pieces and aluminum tube the fitment issues were all but eliminated. The problem then was that the cost of the system would really have been prohibitive.
Herbie, According to one of our customers that happen to have the proper type of test equipment he was able to confirm our preliminary numbers. The shorter and fatter AGS tube flowed 122.2 cfm more than stock which is a 21.2 % increase . There were a bunch of photos of the tubes around here for a long time but that was awhile ago. If you got a look at any of those the improvment wouold be easy to see. In any event it really is a moot point at this stage but those are the answers to your questions.

I finally found an AGS Version 2 (polymer plastic) though but oh well been lookin for 9 MONTHS for Aluminum one. I did get a huge tube of High Temp Sillicone RTV, I put like 5 coats of black DEI High Temp (2100) ceramic paint on the tube, (looking for CF Heat Shield if anyone not happy with their ags, I will buy your heat shield-at price you paid-slightly more if new?-pm me)
But the reason of post is any advice for install, tips or modifications to ags? I did think about removing the shroud, but also thought I could maybe dremmel intake portion to fit a larger air brake duct directly to air fillter to get more air in to filter, any ideas?
