The problem then was that the cost of the system would really have been prohibitive.

Herbie, According to one of our customers that happen to have the proper type of test equipment he was able to confirm our preliminary numbers. The shorter and fatter AGS tube flowed 122.2 cfm more than stock which is a 21.2 % increase . There were a bunch of photos of the tubes around here for a long time but that was awhile ago. If you got a look at any of those the improvment wouold be easy to see. In any event it really is a moot point at this stage but those are the answers to your questions.

thx . i never liked the 180 the stock set up does. and the box is tiny !!! the engine can pull that right out . but oddly going with cutting open the fire wall made things seemingly worse . so the bottle neck is further down . any way cool .

I finally found an AGS Version 2 (polymer plastic) though but oh well been lookin for 9 MONTHS for Aluminum one. I did get a huge tube of High Temp Sillicone RTV, I put like 5 coats of black DEI High Temp (2100) ceramic paint on the tube, (looking for CF Heat Shield if anyone not happy with their ags, I will buy your heat shield-at price you paid-slightly more if new?-pm me)
But the reason of post is any advice for install, tips or modifications to ags? I did think about removing the shroud, but also thought I could maybe dremmel intake portion to fit a larger air brake duct directly to air fillter to get more air in to filter, any ideas?

(emphasis added) As a vendor (in any industry) , you can't not put up numbers. I like to think that we as the customer understand numbers/data as a "guideline" and not get sucked into the numbers game. I mean, at the end of the day, who pays attention to the numbers?
