Hi everyone,
I am planning on installing an oil cooler soon, and have been trying to find the direction of flow from the factory oil cooler. I am going to be running the sneed4speed oil cooler plate, a koyorad cooler, and an improved racing 200°F thermostat. I have looked everywhere but can't find a direction of flow within the factory oil cooler. Does the oil flow from the filter to the block or from the block and into the filter housing, if anyone knows please let me know, Thanks!
Thanks for the reply Jason,
But that video doesn't cover what I'm trying to find out. Hopefully this photo helps to see what I'm trying to find out. I want to know which way the oil flows in the stock cooler's "mouth". I think it flows from left to right but I'm not sure as I haven't seen anything online.
There are other kits beside sneeds you can consider that are equally if not better made. Just want to add .02 and make sure people dont think there is only one.
At what sort of prolonged ( Road or Track ) temperature do people believe a upgraded cooler is required ?
is a oil temperature gauge also recommended At the same time, if so where is the best place to monitor?

˄Not only just for this˄ but also beneficial for highly modified engine.
Scanguage/XGuage can monitor this without install extra sensor.
