If you're running 100% meth then I would have to agree that you probably need more flow with the JB+ at 70%

What are the dangers or running too much meth? I know I can adjust flow with the gain dial, I just hate the trial and error. I am sure I am better off running too much meth rather than not enough? I guess my question is where is the sweet spot?

I noticed you had P/IR adjusted for more flow here. Were, are you tuned?

well the boost can be high but as long as we are within its compressor rating, the turbo will be fine

I dont know what the max boost this thing can push before its just blowing hot air so i cant comment on people running the boost too high

I believe you said that you running mostly off boost signal and not IDC. If this is true, this might be an issue. New Cooper Fanatic had issues running to much boost bias, IIRC.

Also at what psi do you start spraying?

Jeff had me switch from IDC mode to MPS due to getting a burst of meth upon startup while in vacuum which was causing the car to stall. I start spraying around 7-8 depending on how much gas is given.

Spoke with Jeff today. Made some adjustments, bumped the jet to a .7 and I think I am good to go.

Have you retried it with the JB+ turned up?

I was thinking about it. I am also running an auto so my settings will probably have to be different than a manual. At least possibly thres, PI/R or gain.

If your running straight Meth and have a .8 jet throw that in then you'll see your iat's drop. I'm running 50/50 W/M using a .7

Anyone running a .8? Or will that be too much meth spraying to reduce power.

I'm running .8 without a restrictor and have no problems so far. I'm also Manic tuned.

I might test the .8 out. Car produces a lot of heat on stock turbo at about 19psi.
Hope I can get my upgraded turbo soon. Just concerned if .8 was too much.
But if your running it I'll give it a shot.

Anyone else run the .8?
Will try it when I get home from work. I'm at .7 right now. Just want to know your thoughts. Has it made your car bog or anything? I'm run 100% meth.

Changed to the .7 jet and I am seeing a huge difference in drop of AIT. Today it was high 80, and the temps would drop to the high 60s quickly.

Jet size

So is it safe to say that the .7mm jet is having the most success as far as cooling intake temps? Also a mixture of 80% methanol and 20% water?

I'm going to switch to the 0.7mm (from 0.6mm) and see what happens.
