I'm running a Snow Performance Stage II Kit, but it's just the Tank, Pump and Nozzle holder. All other hardware is from Devils Own. I would need the plug when I go to the Dealership for Service. Don't want to just throw it in their face that I'm running a Meth Kit...

I've been to the dealer twice. Haven't said anything.

That's good to know. Was it for warranty or service? But at least I know our dealership is a no hassle atmosphere👍

It was only for oil changes. I don't know what they would do if something was "wrong", but the Technicians have all been cool and I do tip them when I pickup the car.

I'm considering putting my meth pump in a cool spot in the engine bay and leaving the tank in the back of the GP2. Any issues I should consider?
Thanks

Ideally the pump should be located as close to and below the level of the tank. This will aid in the initial priming and also aid in maintaining the prime.

Most pumps are not weather proof (only resistant) so take that into consideration.

BTW, who did your ceramic coatings on your DP? I'm thinking about getting a high flow 100 cell cat and having it coated.

From what I see: 1. cut the wastegate wire from ecu and splice the brown and white wire from gray harness. 2. Calibrate flow bars on gauge 3. Calibrate wl and wh dials on gauge. 4. Set jumper in cel dr1 I think that's it. Sounds simple enough.. I guess. Any additional thoughts?
Can you post a pic of they the wastegate wire and brown wire splice looks like? I want to set up the failsafe but cannot picture this in my head.

I will take a pic tomorrow. Away from the mini tonight. Just make sure the brown wire goes to wastegate and the white goes to the ecu.

Just don't understand the "splicing". Your not tapping one to the other, correct?

You cut the wastegate wire in half. The portion of the wire going to the ecu gets the white wire from the aquamist gray plug and the the remaining going back to the wastegate gets hooked to the brown wire from the aquamist gray plug. So, now the aquamist controller completes the circuit.

Here's a pic before I wire tied and taped it. You can also use a posi tap to make the connection.

Thanks. This helps a lot. So the white is the wastegate wire.

Yes it's the white wire. I would look at the diagram and count over to the correct pin-out.

Going to move my jet further down the pipe (Closer to the intercooler) so it has more time to cool down the intake before it hits the sensor. I originally was going to put the blanking plug to where the original hole was but now I am thinking of just running a twin nozzle set up since I will have 2 holes. Do you guys see any problems running 2 nozzles on the same pipe? I am on the stock turbo running 18-19psi so temps are something i really need to combat. I will give it a go since i will have 2 holes anyway. What do you guys think? The more meth the better? Lol

I would ask Jeff about the dual jets. I think others have thought about it and he talked them out of it.

No more e85 then ?

Just finished up my aquamist install . Might sound like a stupid question , but now that I'm running this system ( 80/20 mix btw) do I need not bother using my usual 2.5 gallons of e85 per tankful anymore ??? Didn't know if there would no longer be a benefit or if I should still run that mix regardless .

Thanks in advance for your answers

More octane is always better for insurance reasons, and to not rely on just one system. If E85 is not a pain to get and your car is logging well, then I would keep using the 2.5 gallons. Is your meth turning on around 6-8 psi?

Since the methanol is port injected and unmetered, spraying it on top of an E85 mix will help with fuel trims. Ignoring any compatibility issues of ethanol and the fuel system, I would definitely run a mix of E85 if it was available to me but I have to drive 20 miles one way to get it.

Thanks !

Excellent , glad I asked as I assumed I'd not be using the e85 anymore but will for sure now . Luckily I can get both just down the street . Was kinda surprised , both are under $3 a gallon .

Race gas would be ideal, but not at $9-13 a gallon. E85 is great, but only can be used at 30% or less. You are one of the lucky ones, that can get E85 so easy. Can't wait to get my lazy butt to install my meth kit

I have been running 100% meth and just ordered a 1.0mm jet as my tune requires 500cc of flow. I have a stupid question?? For those of you that are running the 80/20 mix, how are you measuring and mixing the meth and water.

Let us know how the 1.0mm jet works out. I was thinking of doing 1 big single jet or dual small jets. Not sure

I had been doing it by weight on a scale. It was suggested over on the aquamist forums

Sounds easier to stick with 100% meth.
