I installed my Wagner yesterday! I too am anxiously waiting for Stage 3.

Let me know how the Stage 3 works out. I have had the stage 2 for about 3 weeks and its great. John @ Battle is really great to work with and they are always getting back to your emails asap.

I was also looking at the CNT catless DP and was also wondering how this fitted up to the car. Have read some reviews that they all don't fit the same.

I have the following upgrades to my 07 MCS
Helix FMC, AEM Full Intake, Invidia Q300, Hot side muff delete.

Got my tunes today! Throwing stage 1 on with alta CAI, hood scoop delete, GB DV+, forge inlet and hot side muffler delete, and wagner FMIC. Getting the catless DP installed on Monday then upgrading to stage 3 (I would rather pay $80 than remove the heat shields, and radiator to DIY). So freaking excited!

I purchased a stage 3 for my 09 JCW. I did have the Ultimate Chip prior. I am holding out on my findings until I do some diagnostics and more dyno runs. So far I'm hopeful the numbers come around. I was getting 205 whp and 223 torque with just the chip.

Sorry but this is a bit off topic.

Anyone notice difference between 2.5" and 3" exhaust on their tune? I want to get my tune soon but I'm running a 2.5" cat-del to striaght pipe to JCW exhaust.

How do you like that set up? I don't eve see the reason for the second cat, was it worth it to delete it? Does the car drone now? Thanks.

I got the FJCW exhaust with the 2nd cat and resonator delete mated with the evolve high flow DP, it doesn't drone one bit. Sounds so damn good. I gotta post a video on my YouTube page.

Dynoed today... A bit disappointed.

So I bought some dyno time and I was surprised to see I did not get some of the numbers others have been getting with their stage 3. I am not going to post a picture but let's say that the stage 3 vs the fJCW tunes were within 10 whp of each other. The good news is BattleTuning is a great and supportive company and John is looking into it. A truely funny occurance, when I loaded the aggressive linear tune, it really messed with the dyno machine and said I pulled 432 WTQ!

When you all dyno the vehicles, do you find it impossible to turn off DTC? Also, does your ABS light come on? Finally, when I was done, my power steering was off until my ABS light went out, is this normal? Thanks.

Yep normal behavior. The DSC and ABS ECU's do not like having the front wheels spinning and not the back. No way to prevent the lights coming on. I use a wifi dongle and BMWhat app on my iPhone to clear the codes after a dyno rather than waiting for them to clear themselves.

Stage 3 was within 10whp of the stock tune or the Stage 1 tune?

Wonder what happened with your particular map. I'm sure it'll get addressed!

Stage 3 was within 10 hp of fJCW tune with mods (I would fully expect Stage 1 to be within in 10 of a JCW tune). Funny story, I lost 4.4 WHP when I put the factory air box back on, so upgraded intake actually DOES something.

That's good the intake requirement does make a difference.

No drone cause I kept the resonator. Why delete you asked? I wanted a straight pipe and it was only $40 bucks. In terms of performance, can't feel any difference since I cut it after I got my catless dp.

My '07 does not have DCS but the lesser alternative ASC. Should I have this turned off when I run on a Dyno? Or should I run the Dyno with ASC on?

Must have it all off I believe... I run with full DCS off on my MINI so I'm sure it's the same case with ASC.

I thought as much. I figured it would dumb the car down or activate brakes and cause issues. Good to know and verify! Thanks

Do you know why your piston failed?

How is a tune responsible for you blowing a piston?

You can definitely blow a piston for stressing the engine with more power it can't handle. Accessports can definitely do it with how much power they can put down. But I'm curious how he came to that conclusion!
