Yes, the $650 price you see on BT's site includes the tune (stage 1 or 2) and a Powergate 3 programmer. Stage 3 costs a little extra though...

What is everyone opinion of these tunes so far?? Does not seem to be gaining much more power than the JB.

I agree to a certain point. I seen a dyno for a guy on their stage 2, pushing only 190whp but very good power staying steady in the high revs.

DNA offers ECU tunes for N18s. Weaver motorsports offers it and I think Battle offers it as well. So I'm sure there's one person who has it.

Sorry I didn't elaborate. The JB tune isn't available for the '07-'10 N14. At the price point of the JB there would probably be a lot more people with them if they made it for the N14 as well. The handful of people that have gone beyond what DNA calls a Stg 2 tune are putting down better numbers than the JB.

The OP said that "What is everyone opinion of these tunes so far?? Does not seem to be gaining much more power than the JB."

And numbers are just part of it. Its the driveability and how the car behaves that are the big piece of the puzzle.

Just wondering if anyone has used ( if it can be used) the JB+ and Battle's stage 1 or 2 together as combo?

It's not a good idea to mix tunes and really there is no point in doing so.

Thanks for the clarification. I thought, both can be used for the N18...

There is a DNA tune but you have to ship your ECU out. Weaver motorsports and I think Battle does it.

I've got a pretty much stock '09 jcw. Before I get a tune, I plan on getting an intercooler. Would that alone "qualify" me for stage 2, or just stage 1? What would I need for a stage 2? Or is that a John question? I'm not really interested in going cat less. Or upgrading the jcw exhaust.

Double check with John to be sure. I am running stage 2 without an intercooler, but I do have a DP. I have an intercooler being shipped to me right now, should be in tomorrow and I will be going to stage 3. I've been running stage 2 since February without the FMIC. I would recommend having one installed before doing stage 2. It runs fine, but the heat soak is quick, hence my need for a FMIC.

Stage 3 is on order here (when their decoder machine gets fixed).

I have a Wagner FMIC, Alta intake with Forge inlet & hot side muffler delete, CNT catless DP (ceramic coated), and stock JCW exhaust (john said it is perfectly fine for it). I'll dyno it as soon as I get that tune!!
