Drivetrain Battle/DNA Tune Thread

Fair enough, I might have been a little pissed when I sent that post....
I get being busy with work, trust me I travel for a living ....
No one "has" to post anything,......
Yes I have both of their emails
My thoughts are if your going to push a product and want to be the first in doing it , then continue doing it and if possible show proof/outcomes is all
Like I stated before, I got tune updates when I sent logs , was happy with the performance aspect of the DNA tune, I just felt like I got left holding the empty bag is all

Lets see...um oh yeah.... It was summer and everyone in Italy shuts down during the summer, no shipping ??..... I guess I never knew UPS or Fedx takes the summer off in Italy, I'm thinking about moving now..lol
shipped it out around the second week of June 2015.

Hi,
I've just had UPS on the phone, the returns document has been filled in with a cost implication to us, so I will have to pass this on to one of you to pay.

Italy have had their summer break where the country shuts down when you sent, there is no update yet!

Hi,
Sorry we’d moved premises and this was returned to us after being delivered to the old address recently. Can you give me the return address and we’ll get it sent out, also what was your VIN so I can confirm in the unit.

received the Powergate back around mid March 2016

Just cut your losses. Most of us have. Time to move onto a Manic tune. Trust me, Manic is a far better tune. I gave up about 6 months ago. I've been happier ever since. Runs smoother. Makes more noise. Faster car. Engine runs cooler. What's not to love? Remember it's not Manics fault you'll have to spend more money on a tune. But you'll still be happy you did.

I can't speak about RMW as I don't have direct experience. That being said, those who have his tunes seem very pleased. As far as Manic goes, I enjoy cooler running engine, smoother operation, better power delivery and cold start delete. I don't drag race so launch control is not a concern of mine. But being able to switch between 4 maps on the fly (as in plugging a switch into your OBDII port and it automatically switches) and being able to shoot flames out my exhaust, and make shotgun like noises is always fun for me

Basically, if you're running a catless exhaust system then it stops the car from trying to warm up the catalytic converter. So in turn there is less fuel wasted and it's not quite as loud in the morning after your car has been sitting long enough to cool all the way down. Less fuel burned the better. Plus less wear and tear when you're not dumping fuel. That being said, shooting flames does waste more fuel then the cold start program...
