Drivetrain The Official ALTA AccessPORT Thread
2013 Hardtop JCW Compatibility
Hey guys,
Newbie here. I searched through several pages but haven't found an answer yet. I apologize in advance, I know this is a really simple question... Does the Alta Accessport work on a 2013 Hardtop JCW? Manaul transmission if it matters.
Thanks!

I know the Accessport can check and clear codes. Can it clear an airbag light? I was trying to install and amp and I was playing with the X9331 connector and the one above it. When I reconnected the battery, among the many other lights and issues that happened was the airbag light went on. I cured all the other issues, but the airbag is on.
Edit: apparently not.

Clubman exhaust and tunes other than Stage 1
I don't know if this thread is even follow anymore, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
I just bought an AP off of another member (hasn't even arrived yet) and I was researching info on tunes. Everything says that I need a 3" exhaust and DP for a stage 2 or higher tune.
I can't seem to find a 3" system for a Clubman. I was really interested in the Magnaflow because I've had great luck with them in the past and I can get their systems at cost.
Since the R55 has dual mufflers and I would assume lest restriction, what are your thoughts on a 2.5" catless downpipe(probably the Way Motor Works) and the 2.25" Magnaflow system? Will it flow enough for a stage 2 tune?

I guess custom it is.
I'm running stage 2 tune with a 2.5" DP and 2.5" resonator and second cat delete. Rest of the exhaust is stock.
It boost cuts sometimes. In hindsight I should have left primary cat on and kept stage 1

Thanks for the info.
I might be completely satisfied with the Stage 1, or eventually moving to the Stage 1 with intercooler and intake. But I also said I wasn't going to mod this car and I've only had it since April.
Do you need to do anything special to get a reasonable size log? I tried to capture a log while I drove to down hall this morning, and it only recorded the first 29 seconds of my trip? I was collecting 21 metrics.
I didn't have to do anything special on mine. I recorded 30mins with 20 metrics just by turning datalogging on, nothing else.
I've been trying to read this entire thread for weeks now, but I can't get through it all.
I've even got one screen at home where I started from the beginning and a screen at work where I started at the end.
So this might have been answered already but here it goes.
Does the ECU in these cars take a while to "learn" after a new tune is loaded? Will it fine tune things the longer I drive it?

I've been driving with a tune for almost two years and it's been the same since day one. No change.
That's unfortunate. I was hoping that this part throttle stumble was simply a "learning" issue and would go away.
Time to dive in I guess.
Make sure it's been unmarried (why don't we call it divorced?) from the other car.
But yes, I bought one for my 2010 Clubman S and love it so far.
Speaking of this thread, is there a reason why nobody has gone through and cleaned it up? It's a CRAZY amount of post, most of which are the same thing repeated. I've actually got two tabs open at all times, one that started from the first post and one that started from the last. I've never met in the middle yet.
