Drivetrain RMW REMOTE TUNING FOR R56 testing next week
P-Torque is the guy that can tune them but he is over 5 hours away and i run my own business so cant even leave for a day to get it done without losing a days work and i work 7 days a week most of the time.
I need someone a tad closer so i can take half a day and not go out on such a loss. Thats why i thought the Remote tuning tool would be great for me.

I understand about the business. I own two bodyshops and had to drive almost 7 hours to Kentucky just to get my car tuned by Jan.
The weekend before, I drove 8 hours to have an exhaust put on my car.
Driving is half the fun for me.

As you can see by my Dyno chart. I am getting about 300 ft pounds from around 2500 rpm all the way up past redline. I am also hitting 400 hp. Wow love that dyno

WOW!! Is that at the wheels?
Can you tune my car too?
your power drops pretty bad at 8k rpm though.
Heres the part of the print out i could get in the photo. It has all the information needed to know its an R56 etc just incase of any doubters etc.
Oh, no dude, I'm sorry... I was being funny because of the pic that was posted...
This one.

I thought you posted it... I was just being funny because I thought you had. Until I just looked, I didn't realize that Chakraj posted the link... not you.
My bad, my apologies.

How about a picture of the graph but not under bright lights, try a normal room without overheads.

EDIT: Prim, I was looking for pictures of your MINI, I found your posting in 08 of your Cooper with the nice JCW body kit, did you trade it off?
Noticed the dyno reports HP/TQ at the motor and the wheel HP/TQ.
I believe all the numbers you see folks posting at NAM are WHP and WTQ.
Do you know the % factor that the AMD shop is using on their dyno to reflect engine HP versus wheel HP?
Thanks,
Don

Is that the correction factor? If so its 0.988. Ratio gear is 1.74-5.
AMD ESSEX is pretty good when it comes to dyno's. They are well thought of by Mini owners all over. James from FOM SPORT Uk, the sole Uk supplier of M7 parts etc swears by AMD's rolling road along with 1320 Autos rolling road.
Apparently its pretty much one of the most accurate dyno's around along with 1320's etc..

I did some simple math and came up with a 20% factor for the difference between engine HP and the wheel HP your chart shows.
I suspect they did your dyno pulls in 4th gear which would be normal for a 6 speed. I looked at some of their videos on youtube, they do a wall projection of the run?
Yeah. Thier shop is pretty good to be fair. But unfortunately they still haven't come up with a tuning solution for the R56. Its in the works but they seem to be having problems. I dont think they want to buy the Genius Tool as they have other tools that can do it, but they are having difficulty getting thier other tools to run the right protocols. Really they should just invest in the Genius but theres no telling them unfortunately.

I did notice the menu item on their web page did not have an entry for tunes.
Btw, did you catch my edit above?

Oh, and PRIMINISTAR's numbers aren't that out of the ordinary?
They are estimated bhp numbers, and if you roughly convert them down to wheel horsepower...they aren't anything special or crazy. Horsepower is 170 at the wheels and torque is around 190's to the wheels.
There are people here that have seen 200+ ft lbs to the wheels on stock R56's.

I must say though, it's not your best work.
There's actually one that tunes the ECU via the OBD port, but his claims are far too outlandish (40 HP, 50 lb/ft) for me to believe.

Ask to see the dyno results, if you get nothing, walk away.

I had visited the website you noted, it looks interesting. How long have they been in business?
