I'll let Jan answer that but I wonder if it's much like a predator, etc, where you can only store either the stock tune or an aftermarket tune and thus cannot move from one vehicle to another unless you remove the aftermarket tune.

I would think it wouldn't be since these are not tunes that we are buying from the maker of the remote tuner (ie. superchips, predator, hypertech)

Perhaps Jan will tune in and let us know.

Jan If we sell our car but get another Mini can the tool be reprogramed for the new car or do you need a new tool?

 

my guess would be NO but it might be possible with a FEE for the factory to reset it.

Yes, Jan already said if you already have a tune with him, your tool will come loaded with your stock tune and your dyno tune. Both.

well, once i get the remote device, i'll send you some ScanXL files to work with from my carpc interface. only 4800 baud rate though. :(
