Drivetrain Gintani Aftercooler Program
Madness Cars
Im trying to get a hold of Randy to chime in to this very subject. We were there at Laguna Seca, he was driving and he wasnt twincharged at the time. Randy did switch to a twincharge setup later and I posted his custom manifold on the twin charged thread.
Who do you think shot the video that was posted? Take a wild guess?

Steve Diniz has our Stage 4 kit (not twincharged) and competed against Randy's Twin charged car at Summit Point Raceway for 2 races. With all Randy's extra power from the twincharge he still couldn't keep Steve with his failed ABS off his back. Just watch the video above for proof of that. Randy won the 1st Race and Steve won the second.
The Black Race MINI we built in the picture above is still on the track today and maked roughly 330hp 300whp. This is the car we competed in at the Eurotuner GP, again see video above. This car is Turbo only! Notice how we beat the Focus Sport turbo Focus, Eat your heart out Fireball Tim!
Please see my previous post in this thread. I gave a link to the original New Intercooler (Gintani) thread that I started in 2005. I took quite a bashing at that time for mentioning (perhaps prematurely) the Gintani system and some of my data, including the net difference in weight between the stock setup and my modified system, temperature deltas, etc.
I have no intention of presenting any additional or more detailed data (e.g., hours of data logging using beta Bim-Sport) because I do not want to get caught up in the pissing contest that has been going here. Nor will I respond to any pm's for my independent data on this product. Again, interested parties could check the much older thread, since there is a lot of relevant information there.
Have fun....

Just to be clear, what Yaki MINI posted above is accurate.

maybe b/c there were only like 5 ~ 6 cars including a classic mini racing at that time..? and compare to MMs and Webb's cars, they seemed obviously under powered ...
So I apologize for not thinking to mention that.
Otherwise, I wasn't there myself that day but seeing all of the footage tells me there was some good racing coming from everyone
Hi my name is Alex. I am one of the owners of Gintani. I’m happy to be a part of NAM and try to help you guys with anything you need that’s mostly over the phone if you would like to call us for any information. You won’t be seeing me on here to much because I’m usually in the shop working on developing new products. Now moving on to answering your question, you will not be able to use the non Cooper S hood with this system because of clearance issues. See you guy's around......
WELL... like i have said many times before
RUN the number listed in my signature below... no nitrious with a factory supercharger without drag radials or slicks... then start running your mouth about your massive tunning POWAH!
and don't give me that lame A$$ excuse of... ohh i don't do the drag racing thing... i race on a real track... lets see how much power you are really making and run that thing 1320 feet.
IC TEST:
Take one stock MCS pre plumbed for a Gintani to a race track, do three 5 lap stints with a 10 min. break between each stint. Then remove stock IC and install Gintani then run three 5 lap stints with 10 min break between stints. Chart each laps before and after and the averages should speak for themselves. Use a neutral driver for all stints. Show me consistantly faster lap times with less or no fall off and it's a winner....

Wow... calling people out on power huh...

why would I waste my time ONLY going 13.2?

No vendor on this site would do that

Ohh don't worry you wont waste your time... you wont get a 13.2 at all.. more like a 13.5 most likely!
LOL
Its quite simple. You just dont want to lose in front of all of your nutswingers... its ok. I understand. The Jan tune is all very good and am very impressed by the work you have done with these cars. Now i would just like to see some real performance numbers. Your dyno is a little optomistic... and if it isn't you shouldn't have any problem beating my measly 13.2 at 105.5mph. So just do it already!!! I will be the first to congratulate you!
Paul Webster has been chasing my 13.2 for 2 years... ask him how diffiuclt it is. And he is a real drag racer. So best of luck to you. don't talk ***** if you can't do it. And don't call people out unless you can walk your talk. otherwise... you will get called out and you will have to back into the corner like you just did.
And as far as the measurement of hp 30-50 roll or whatever. i do agree that is a pretty good method but I would prefer to keep the shenanigans off the street, in a controled enviornment plus... its only 1320 feet. its absolutely on the level for everyone in the coutry plus you get a nice little timeslip to prove what you have done.
remember the rules are simple and representive of what you would drive on the street and what everyone owns...
Street tires (no drag radials)
Weight removal:no back seat only Carbon hoods and trunk and stuff is fine...
M45 blower
No nitrious
No turbo
its all you buddy. I hope you do it!!! It might make me go back out and buy another mini just to move the bar again...

Isellem I thought it was me who was getting old and had tempoary memory loss, I ran 13.09 at Easter last year, its the 105.5 I cant beat
though we did run a 104.5.
I have to confess that on a customers car the RMW head has made 20 whp more than we've ever seen, thats with stock rev limiter and 380s.
If this engine was in ours it be going high 12s at 106-7.
So you better dust off those simpson race shoes Isellem
