HAHAHAHA Sorry just had to do it, and what does all your other cars have to do with the MINI community. Why dont you show us what you got for the MINI then try and compete with RMW. And another thing if RMW can bring us power that will break the 300hp barrier within a year or two, I would much rather trust them with my car then someone that spends 4 years to build an intercooler!!!!!

This is also why I've been considering implementing a set of vendor guidelines for some time.

Yes...and its not acceptable for you to bite back at the same time. In the future use the report bad post feature and the mods will attend to the issue.

NAM provides advertising services to both of you to reach the MINI community. To date I have not seen a strong need to implement vendor guidelines to address issues like this. That said if this continues I will implement them and make it clear as to what measures are taken if there are continuing problems.

Just some of the engineering we do here at Gintani. What is up with you Jan do you want me to tell all. Every company gets bashing from you....play your own game of chess dont send in the rook.
I like your A-series turbo build there Gintani. My Dad and I have a 1961 woody wagon that we're going to bolt a T3 turbo to. We've already got a 1293cc turbo metro block with centre main cap, Longman head, 18cc dished pistons, rebuilt T3 turbo, dinky intercooler and piping, etc. We're just about to go crankshaft, cam, gearset, drop gearset, flywheel/clutch, and diff shopping! I like the idea of mounting the turbo over the clutch there, but where to mount a brake servo. Hmmm.

I must say that I'm REALLY disappointed in a number of posts here, I would expect true business men to take the arguments to email or IM, not to have it out on a forum as it makes you appear immature.

As for the insults of having or not having a degree... I have an engineering degree and I know plenty of people who can show me up every day. As for the CAD screen shots, most kids in high school can create the models shown (or better).

In the end, the proof is in REAL results, Jan has provided a ton of proof and has many happy customers.

As for the business model of having or not having a show room... well they are exactly that two different models. Personally I'm happy Jan is willing to fly around the USA as I am not located in CA (believe it or not, many Minis are actually not in CA!).

I look forward to the Gintani results and many reviews from happy customers!

BTW from what I've seen Alta is the model for handling customers on this forum, even when questioned and attack Adam has nothing but kind words and support. On top of this he takes notes and makes changes based on suggestions... true customer service, not just offering a product.

It is really sad, Jan must feel threatened by you and your company. But he's the best thing since sliced bread around here, even if the numbers(and posts) never jive.

BTW, that's some pretty impressive hardware you have in the shop there.

And, you could have a degree from MIT. But that means jack____ if you cannot back it up. Go to the track and prove what you say, I think my money would be on Jan and his crew any day.

And he has... www.revolutionmini.com ...check Longboards sig for a lot of what he has. Then start shooting off about one product. Your website lists mostly "canned" tunes for the vehicles you make products for.

You mean Jan's tunes netting at least that to the wheels on most bone stock minis.
Once again, Jan is the man.

Tune-~$600.00 all said and done...correct me please if I am off.
Intercooler from Gintani-$4000.00 installed(14HP)...much rather have Jesus(what 20+WHP?) riding with me for that amount of money...I am talking about the head, BTW.

No bashing here, just facts and my choice.

I thought post #1 claimed that 14hp was from a bolt-on water to air intercooler. Or was there a tune in there too?

Why agressively pursueing the locking of this thread.

There is software built for the cooler which gains additional power above the power gained from just the Aftercooler. Also I want to point out that this is on a bone stock Mini Cooper with no MODS. Additional gains will be seen from a modified Mini. The power gains are minimum gained not maximum. Different gains will be seen just depends on the modifications you have.We joined NAM to display our skills and products. Im here to conduct business and answer any questions there may be regarding our products. Im done the kid games....

what. the. heck. did. you. expect? come in throwing BS around yourself...think people are going to line up for the privilege of buying from you?

Please.....make that track date at SOW and shut all of the naysayers up. I'll be the first to post a public apology thread which I'm sure all others will openly join.

Let's channel the competitive BS into actually make quantum leaps forward for this community. How hard can that be really?

this is my new favorite thread.
my old favorite thread was the one with all the happy results from all of Jan's Custom dyno tunes.
Everyone was so happy in that one.

No reason not to be with all those amazing results.

No Im not a fabricator myself personally thats why I have skilled employees. I myself personally contribute to our team as one of the partners of the business as well as all the software tuning that is done on any vehicle that my partner and I decide to produce products for.
