got the cover today. the vinyl material is on the brittle side especially in
colder weather. it's about 50F right now so i'll need to use a hair dryer to
soften it up to get the folds out later.
the length is about 45.5". it's covering two 275 & two 245 width tires
and the rack that sits about 4" off the floor. the diameter loosely fit's
my tires for my G, so for MINI's tires it might be too big unless you tuck
it under.
it's not bad. just needs to get the folds out later on.

i pulled out my tire stand thingie and pulled the backside to make the
frontside to stretch out a little. i found that the diameter of my
G's wheels/tires are at least 4" smaller in diameter than the cover itself.
which means, your MINI wheels are much too small to get a nice fit.
i think these would fit SUV tires better.
regardless, it's nice and
tidy now.
forgot to mention...the tirerack carrier bag on the top of the Bridgestone
cover is for my MCS... you can clearly see how small the MCS tires are in
diameter vs my G's.

Sorry for the delay in answering this. I hadn't seen this thread in a while.
Anyway, The tiles are RaceDeck tiles and I bought them from Griots. I recently pulled them out of the garage since my GF's dogs are in there pretty often. They're easy to clean but you shouldn't really hose them down (no matter what anyone here tells you). I'm going to sell them, so if anyone is interested, let me know.
As for the white on the walls, I don't recall the actual shade, but it's a flat, non-glossy white.
LOL....Thanks man. I'm happy with my cars. The RS4 is my GF's car. We both used to have Audi S4's and missed having one around. The M-Coupe (below) is beautiful, but the build quality is NOT EVEN CLOSE to that of the Audi. And the FJ Cruiser is a great car. I drive that every day to work while the other cars sleep (cleanly) in the garage.
.
.
Why do you say you shouldn't hose them down? Can you still wash a car on them? Also, it looks like the tiles do not go all the way to the wall. Any problems with them sliding? I've got curved lip on each side the end of the garage by the door that prevents me from doing the whole thing
You can wash your car on it, but unless the garage is on a bit of a slope, water will accumulate under it.
No problem with the tiles moving AT ALL. All together they weigh over 300 lbs. Not to mention that there is another car on the other side. But either way, even with no cars on it, I have tried to pull it and have had ZERO luck (if you will) in doing so.

I have the Race Deck brand tiles in my garage, too. And no, you will not move them still installed. You and ten guys, maybe.
As far as hosing them down, I've had mine for about 8 months now and have not had a need to do that. I just sweep or vacuum and then go over them with a damp mop. They look great !
Not sure why anyone would want to wash their car IN their garage. But if you do get water under the tiles, garage floors are built to slope slightly toward the doors and the water should drain fine.

Cool. My garage is slopped, along with the drive way, but there is one section where it water pools up in the garage
. Does this hurt them in anyway? I have a single door so a car would be in there centered for washing, so really I should have figured it would be no problem moving it with a car on it.
If you don't mind me asking what was a ballpark cost to do a 2 car garage like that?

Nah, water pooling under there can't hurt the tiles, their are hard, flexible plastic. It'll just take longer to dry and your garage my get a musty smell.
My two car garage cost me about $1400 to tile.
Gus's... probably cost about $5 billion because his garage is freakin' huge.

Good lord do they cost $2 a tile? I'll stick with the epoxy and hope it holds up (so far not good). Maybe when the mini is paid off I'll so some race decks, but when the mini is paid off I want a e36 m3
washing inside the garage keeps your car from waterspotting in the sun, and most products are supposed to be applied in shade, and you don't get sunburned, and it's generally cooler, and you can do it in the rain. I'm sure there are many other benefits I missed, oh, in the dark with correct lighting, in the winter with a rinseless, the list goes on. I'll never wash outside again! <(^-^)>
Most my water drains towards the the door but if you get it in one spot it flows under the kitchen and pools up in the garage

I agree with all most of those points... I pull mine outside only to wash and then pull it back in to dry it, detail it, the whole nine yards.
But washing it ? My drywall would get soaking wet, not to mention the other stuff I store in there.
Now, in winter, I've been known to pour a gallon of distilled water on the boot to get the mag-chloride off there.

As for the water pooling up. I would second that opinion. I have a few spots where the water would pool up just a tad and it wasn't a big problem, but I have A/C in my garage which helps circulate the air in there. And no, the tiles won't warp or anything like that.
Washing inside - I simply wash the car outside then pull it in to dry (that's why I got the A/C in there to begin with).
I center the car in the garage so there's ample room. I also use a shower nozzel and have never had a problem with water on the drywall or anything in the garage. Not even close to the walls. Now, when my friend put his fire hose nozzel on there that cause some problems.
I did the outside inside thing when my old roommate fiat wasn't running and was stuck in the garage, but I still prefer inside the whole time.

Guys, if anyone is interested I'll sell them my tiles at NOWHERE near that price. Just let me know. As you can see from the pics, I'm pretty meticulous with my things......the tiles are in good shape.
I was going to leave just the flooring under the GP. I still might do it, not sure yet.
I just pulled up the builders site and its actually 462 sqft. :impatient The other 18 is the utility closet that has the furnace, a/c, w/h, and water softener in it. That helps free up a ton of space.
I've thought about tiling a 8 x 4 ft section where the workbench will eventually be. Checkered flag to go with the theme in there. We'll see how it goes.
