although it looked pretty
good in stock form too, your transformation made it even better.

out of place posting something as simple as a tire cover, but since i

That why I went with the Armstrong Excelon VCT in mine. At Lowes and Home depot it is less than $0.75/sf. If you can get it from a flooring dealer it is even cheaper.
This past weekend I installed one of the TireRack tire storage rack. Since my builders were on drugs (or using the metric system) the studs that were supposed to be on 16" centers were actually on 14" centers so I had to mod the holder a bit. I cut 3" from each holder and drilled a new hole in each but it is a very solid and well made rack. Here are a couple of shots:

It is very nice to free up some more floor space, and you can do pull-ups on the bar (you can - not me). The rack is adjustable in width and I have it set to the narrowest. BTW I have a towel drying rack underneath (the white PVC pipe mounted on the red 2x4 and the other white pole is for my UJ flag use in carshows. And yes - those are my new set of Nitto tires waiting for the spring.

MMbee, that's pretty hard core when you go so far as to get a new set of Nittos just to show off your awesome rack!
I trust the base is higher than head-high. Otherwise, those front corners look like they could do a serious number on someone's coconut...

Actually yes, it's about 6'-6" off the floor so not for the NBA types but it works for me. And the Nittos I basically got for free since I bought a set of Fourterra tires for the Expedition during the DiscountDirect sale and saved the price of the Nittos - so I bought them too!
I used T-day to finally attack my garage to get Fleur in before the first North East snow hits (nothing yet on the Shoreline).
I had this to begin with:

After throwing a lot of stuff away, recycle about 2200 cans and bottles and having buddies picking up some stuff:

Motofloor goes in. I have enough tiles to do the whole floor but wait till I can get rid of the fridge and dishwasher and some other stuff on the side:

And oh wonder Fleur fits in

I wanted to go with a smaller checkerboard but the Motofloor came in boxes with 4 tiles already connected. To separate them would have taken me about 5mins per 4... not today

I havent really done anything lately, so no new pics. It still looks pretty much like it did before, other than the floor needs waxing. I will probably get some stuff to hang up for Xmas (signage, etc), so I will post up some more pics then.
While I did Daytona tiles in my garage, we did an epoxy in our kennel. I am getting ready to do another section of my kennel so went back to originalcolorchips.com to start pricing and discovered they have added a color picker page. You can choose your base and the 3 chip colors and see what they will look like. I'm having a blast with it, give it a try.

I might try this this year. The stuff I used last year didn't last 1/2 the winter so next year I will give this a try.
