And I finally bought Mechanix gloves, have eyed them for years. I really needed them, always felt so ackward checking my oil with out them... I swear, Sears is dusting their tools and toolboxes with something that makes you buy stuff
might also want to check out the disposable silicone gloves
griots sells. it's fantastic for when you do oil changes and other
ikky work like cleaning sink/shower drainage.

Yeah, got them already for exactly that.
I just couldn't come up with anything for which I ever needed these Mechanix gloves yet... I'm guilty of neglecting my car

i meant to say their disposable "vinyl" gloves... but i was thinking that
it was like silicon cause i held the hot oil plug during an oil change and
it didn't feel that hot...although it was. and it didn't melt through.

I use the sears mechanics gloves too, the red ones. the finger length is
a tad loner than the Mechanix gloves... the Mechanix and Sparco mech
gloves fit me well. next time im going to try TEIN's mech gloves.

Making progress on my project
Not only did the Motofloor arrive today (haven't seen it yet, am on businesstravel again) but on the weekend I was able to return around 2200 soda cans and bottles. No, I'm not raiding trashcans, that was just the stuff we had collected over the last 2 years or so.
Out of lazyness we didn't take them away in small portions and now suffered the consequences.
So now I just need to get rid of 200 more (different store) and the appliances and I can sweep the garage and put the floor in :D

Yep, 5 cents. But of course you pay these 5 cents already went you buy it, so it isn't really free money. Plus it took me 4 hours to return it. This whole save the planet thing has serious economical flaws

i think he means when you're actually holding onto the griot's mud (clay) that
melts in your hands, not in your mouth.

Heads up........... our Sears had this 40" 8 drawer chest on sale for $127 they quoted a $399 original price

I said no tonight when my wife said go ahead and get one, but I might wake up early tomorrow and go grab one.

On closer inspection this might not be the same exact one. The one in the store had ball bearing slides and recessed handles on the side; which are upgrades......... but you get the idea

I know what you mean My reason for not getting it was that I really don't need another tool box, but for that price

Grats on the new purchase. I am sure it will come in handy for the new tools you may need for your Classic. So what car gets garage time now with the extra vehicle?

I am thinking you need to build a new house with more garage space

Oh don't you start too Have you been talking to my wife? She wants to build again, but in a state further south. I'm not quite ready for that. Of course a smaller house and a larger garage would be nice!

The garage looks like crap right now, I've got all my wood working stuff and 4 sets of wheels, my golf clubs, welder, service cart and the new tool box over on one side. In front of that I have the classic parked. Thank god it's small

My 02 is in bay #2 and the wife's 05 is in it's normal spot in bay #1. The kid got the boot and he's parked outside.
