The batteries seem to last better/longer than most and I like the torque.

i think for heavy duty you need to use 12v or more.

Hmm not sure I do think they made it to Barnes and Noble or Boarders, but that may have just been they're classic magazine. I think I heard they were at 7-11s too.

You can get a free trial issue, might be able to still get the march one.

Everything we have is either 18v or 14.4v, we ditched the 12vs back during a deck building project and haven't looked back!

Agree My 16 vs PC drill/driver has about used up it's battery and at what they want to replace just the battery you could buy new

Now the 19.2 vs combo pack drill & cutoff saw is still going strong

but then again, i guess you need ones that have the tension arm to
hold the loose end of the paper towel like the dispenser on my bench
if i was to use a regular paper towel dispenser outdoors on my driveway....
otherwise the wind will unwind the roll and will look like i teepee'd my
own car. lol.

Haha, I was underneath the MINI.

Looks good. I also like the carts and the new work bench. Jealous. As its warming up I need to spend some time working in the garage and get it cleaned up.

So I had to pull up the entire perimeter of my tiled garage floor over the weekend. We discovered a termite issue on a corner of the house and Orkin decided to do a commando treatment. So up came the tiles, sigh.
I guess it could be worse, I could have gone with the VCT tiles or epoxy, in which case I'd be looking at holes drilled into my new surface. I will put the garage back together tonight and thank my lucky stars I guess.

Yep, nice garage. But when are you going to sheetrock and insulate those walls, ken ? It would look even better and it would stay much warmer in those cold winter days up there !

If I remember correct he isnt going to, he needs the storage. Good use of space, but I would defiantly miss the insulation.

That statement was totally for me, not you .

I'm trying to be more "zen" about stuff, but have to remind myself regularly .

^ Haha, I understand. But I also know people translate stuff differently...I was hoping you didn't think I was making it a bigger issue than it was. And you taught us about another benefit to snap tile flooring.

thanks! you know wat, i had the option to finish the garage when i
bought the home, but i decided that i wanted that extra 4" of space (depth).

and so far, i am glad i kept it that way. when you have ladders and
step ladders in the garage like me, it doesn't make much benefit to
finish the walls...you loose the space between the studs + add more
width to the walls cause you need to put the power supply on top of
the ~1" thick drywall... so at the end, you loose like 7" on both sides of
the walls. that's too much for a small garage like mine with two 2 doors
in there. as long as i have 2 hobby cars, i am not going to finish those
walls!
