spotted a orange MC cabrio with lady driver top down heading east on
Rt62 around 10am in barrington hills.

 

I've had my mini since last September and when I first got mine, I rarely saw minicoopers. Got my first wave back today in south Wheaton. Woman in a convertible MC headed south on Blanchard. Also saw a red MC headed south on County Farm, but I was changing lanes at the time so didnt get a chance to wave. Seems like they are starting to get more popular. Seeing more of them around the burbs.

 

Spotted and Tagged with a NAM spotter card @ Fox Valley Mall, a IB/B MC parked next to mine @ 5pm yesterday.

 

@ 11a crossing over the Fox River on Rt. 30 in Montgomery a HB/W MCS with white stripes. Flicked the lights and got the wave back.
@3:15p a SG/B MCS at the intersection of 34/douglas in Oswego. Sweet looking MINI.

 

i just got back from maui and WHOA there's plenty of minis there! in fact, there was a green OG MINI at the air port chillin in the parking lot. that's how i knew it would be a great trip!!!

anyway, today i spotted a knauz rental DS/B MCS convertible traveling from libertyville to volo-ish. i pulled next to you on 12, honked, and your passenger looked utterly confused.

i spotted a CR/W MC heading south on roselle around
5:30pm today around the O'Hare/Elgin.

 

EB/B MCS w/ Xenons in bufoo Dekalb county 16:40

DS/B 47 and 20 and 72 in SPring Grove, no wave from the young female drivier, but given traffic I could see where she was more focused on just getting home.

 

RG or DS @ 0525 Ogden under I355, you were turning left I passed going straight I waved, but I think you were still short a cup of coffe or running a little alte witht he focus on the Traffic signal.

 

14:15 26 SB I355-CR/W MC no wave

14:10-14:30 I355 NB from Butterfield to the I290 split CR/W MC (02-04), no wave but you almost hit me when I pulled along side you I'm still not sure you ever even saw me.

This seems like forever since I've even looked at this section..... ORDS -- You're right, back on 5/10 you spotted me in the aurora area. Unfortunately, that was the last day I drove the MINI.... I need my Truck more [to haul the trailer for the MINI and my demo derby car!!!!] Hopefully I'll be out and about in the MINI in the next few weeks.... I'll have a closer storage yard for the MINI now!!

 

5/18 7:00 - Exchanged waves with a BRG/B MC(S?)C at Lombard & Harrison in Oak Park. It looked to be a good day to have the top down.

Spotted HB/B MCS by Algonquin & Meacham intersection around 11am.
Male driver.

 

I spotted 11-12 minis today(Monday),half of them -red ...
I went to Patrik Mini and saw like 20 more ...
And I even saw my Mini (my brother was driving it) !!!
Hoppefully I'll meet some of you one day !

 

The Black one is mine and the red one was spotted in my neighborhood last week, just parked on the street waiting for admirers!!

• BRG/B at 90/Arlington Hts Rd

 

Not fair! This is probably the 3rd or 4th time you've spotted me on Golf Rd. I'm going to drive a few times next week.... I will pay attention

Got a wave (and waved back) from a ??/? this morning on Rt 59.
Exchanged waves with a BRG/W in downtown Geneva about 8pm.

I saw SO many MINIs today it wasn't even funny. I think that between a friend and I we spotted 15 or so. I guess it was a good day to be motoring. I was in the truck so there was not too much waving going on.
