you'd be suprised... there's an IB/W MC (female/asian) that travels the same route I do going to and from work.. I've pulled up behind her, next to her at a red light, in front and she make no contact whatsoever. She even has a lead foot (not smart when passing through Mt Prospect or Arlington Hts). Unfortunately, I'm not suprised. Usually if I run into that MINI more than once, they wave or make contact the next time around

I think you caught ernesto going home from the Volo Museum Run today. 16 MINIs enjoyed a run throught the northern burbs. We were leaving Volo around that time, but I went a different direction.

CR/W MCS headed west on pederson... you were behind me and i saw you trying to catch up, but some lame firebird cut you off at the r/r tracks. i waved in my heart....

BRG MC headed south on 12 in fox lake before volo/ 120. flashed my lights but no dice...

i made my BF swear that he would obey my MINI driving rules and wave or flash the lights to other MINIs while driving my car. he was reluctant, but agreed.

On Clark St. and Barry:
- PW Cabrio (top down), no wave

On Halsted St. and Wrightwood:
- MY MINI, no wave
- PW/B w/stripes, I think I elicited some sort of smile or smirk from the male driver

 

nope no ring yet... we've just been together for over 5 years and he's nice to cars, so he can be trusted. plus, he's good at backing out of odd places on a hill so i don't scrape anything!

Got a high beam from a PW/B MCS on Burning Bush rd in prospect heights at around 4:45 today. Gave him the high beams and was gonna wave but a kid threw a frisbie infront of the car at the same time.

Today, around 6:30 pm, Meacham Road in Schaumburg north of Schaumburg Road. Drove alongside a gorgeous CR/B MCS with nice tints and some very cool wheels. Two folks inside, gave a wave and got one back! Nice ride.
