While southbound on Lake Shore Drive this morning near the Museum of Science & Industry, I looked in my mirror and spotted a black '05 or '06 MCSC.
We exchanged waves before he headed West on 57th?

2. Silver Mini Cooper (S?) with black Viper Stripes at Old Orchard Mall in Nordstorms Lot on Skokie BLVD
3. Hyper Blue Mini with white Top going East on Old Orchard Road and Skokie BLVD.

All on my way home from school, quite exciting.

 

This morning on 355 headed north I saw a broken down MINI on the shoulder. I was going 75MPH and there was lots of traffic so I couldn't get over to see if you were ok. I hope everything worked out for you.

Today I saw VR MC in Island Lake on 176, a CR in Palatine on Rt 14 by Smith, an HB on 14 by Baldwin, a DS/B on Lake-Cook wait at the Ela Rd. traffic light and a DS/W on Rt. 12. Of all those only the VR Cooper waved back, is the common in Chicago nowadays, I always remembered many more waves around here?

Hope the MINI on the shoulder was alright.

Saw a PW/B North on Rt. 83 Just north of 22 (2:00pm). And a DS/B on algonquin by Golf Rd. (2:40)

Tonight I got a wave - actually it was a peace sign, from a guy driving a yellow BMW. I got a feeling that maybe there is a MINI at home for that guy.

This was at Square Barn and Huntley Road in the Carpentersville, Huntley/ Algonquin area.

 

Saw a Chili Red/W on Potter and Northwest Hwy around 5:30. we waved.

Saw a DG/B yesterday Potter and Busse.. we waved.

Been a couple of good MINI days!!

 

Saw a AB/S MC at Rt. 12 and Miller road this morning, around 7:30.

 

I saw a PH/W MC about 10am today at 176 and Gilmer, I waved but was in a Silver Corolla loaner car.

 

Spotted a PW/B MC on IL59 at New York St. in Aurora @ 6am

Saw a Chili Red/Black on US 34 at US30 in Aurora at 5:30a. We were able to drive for several miles together. Waved and she was a Grandma to boot!

Wow, today was a MINI-ful day! I saw 4-5 on my way to work, mostly on 53 headed south. I can't remember all the colors and I didn't wave as I was in my gas guzzler truck. Made me wish I drove it today!

 

Just wanted to give a big shout-out to the Milwaukee Minis club! Had a great time on the Milwaukee Mile yesterday! They had 16 cars out there. At one point, the Red Brigade was in full effect, with six red Minis on the track all at once!

Great time had by all!!

 

Spotted slightly lowered DG/B MCS on Devon heading west around 5:35pm
in ElkGrove. had black wheels with polished lip. Black bonnet stripes,
factory driving lights.

Spotted a 03 CR/W MC in Wacconda this morning (7ish) on 176; also fogot to post a Blue Cabrio on Rt 14 in palatine yesterday aroud 17:30

 

hey.. i think this was me!! bummer i didn't get to wave back.

on another note, I saw an ?indi? blue MCS with a lady in there. I was turning left from skokie blvd. onto dempster heading east. She waved, but by the time I noticed, it was already too late.

 

I had a good time also. I should have gotten an honorable mention for traveling the furthest.
