Chicagoland MINI spottings!
The ball idea seems great, but there's the problem of those who don't have antennas. Also, I currently have a Chicago Bears Helmet on there. I might be willing to take it down, but we still would need to figure something out for no antenna people.
The ball works well though because you can see it from all sides , whereas the motoringID or the badge, you can only see from certain sides. I rarely come up to a another MINI face to face.

yah, so... where's this ball? is there actaully going to be one?
this reminds me, today, I pulled up to a pw mini cooper in evanston, (pw myself), I looked over, but there was no look back, so I just went on. Kind of sad though, same color, stopped at a red, but nothing. o well.
It's just that some of the newer Mini owners (I'm not saying all of them) are not as enthusiastic as us. For me, the first time I saw a Mini on the road, I wanted it, and I knew it was going to be my next car. With the gas crunch and bla bla bla, small economical cars are becoming more popular, and don't forget about it's short body making it easy for city dwellers to find parking spaces. Maybe we are the crazy ones. Naaaaaaa. :impatient :impatient :impatient WAAAAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:impatient :impatient
(Waving just makes us better than them, seperates us from the animals kind of thing)

4/5/06 12:45pm, Schaumburg, IL Meacham Rd at Woodfield Rd, DS/B MCS, dark wheels, tint, NICE!!!
Who are you?
BTW, if any of you guys are engineers by trade, shoot me a PM. I work with the largest private technical search firm in the Midwest and would love to help a fellow MINI person better their career.

I saw you Northbound on the Edens at around 7:45 or so on Monday morning. Maybe around Willow? Hard to wave at that speed.

tiny cars like smaller than Honda Fit, Toyo Yaris, xB etc. something like the
WagonRR and Swift and such.
those mini-cars are awesome.
Ahh, I saw a feel today, two on my way to school today. If I can recall a Blue MC going west on Dempster at Skokie BLV. and I think a yellow MC on Skokie BLV going North near Dempster.
And yesterday I believe I saw a Red with Black Bonnet Strip MCS going East on Dempster around 5.
And I'm wondering if the guy who owns a Blue MCS with 4 spoke rims still lives near me. I believe he was on this forum as well.

I saw a MINI pull into a drive way down the block here in St. Charles!
PW/B MCSc!! I'm not alone any more in my neighborhood
I told my wife the other day of my plans to trade in my MCS for a PW cabrio at some point. When we saw the MCSc, she told me my plans were foiled
Oh well - there's no law that says you can't have two PW MCScs on the same block

ah... that's what I thought. Junior in college as of now. My little brother still goes there, he's a freshman though. Are there a lot of MINI's on the lot or is yours the only one?
