Folks - for those of you who are interested in the CMMC Spring Run movies, I have FINALLY posted 3 movies from footage that Dustin took from his dashboard cam here: http://www.taylorsmith.biz/Movies.htm
Enjoy. Sorry to be off topic, but I was unsure where to post this to be honest.

spot my valve stem caps?
speaking of spotting things, anybody see my valve stem caps???
I made the unfortunate decision to take the MINI to dine out at Brass Restaurant & Brewery in Barrington last night. When I came out I found all my valve stem caps were gone.
I know there are other threads regarding the loss of valve stem caps, but geez, these were just the plain old metal caps that came standard on the S-Lites. They didn't even say MINI on them....
Just had to vent a little in a local forum

. Probably a couple of kids... At least they only took the caps and didn't try getting your antenna. On the bright side, now you have an excuse to get a set of snazzy valve caps

Today headed north on 53 @ Higgins rd. I saw in my rear view mirror my car's twin. HB/W with white bonnet stripes. I couldn't see if she had a sunroof as I was continuing on and she was exiting. I couldn't wave as she was too far back but I did flash my rear fog.
Yesterday on 88 headed East @ Naperville Rd. I saw a DS/B with black bonnet stripes in my rear view. I slowed to take the 355 exit and I waved and got a wave back.
Motor On!
