Spotted a DS/B S in the Marriott Oak Brook carpark as I checked out on Friday - any one from here?

 

PW/B MC on Mill road in Oswego @ 8:00p. No wave as I was in the family van.

 

Sunday:

• PS/W 3:15 on 59 north of 22
• HB/B south of Barrington about 3:30
• and an EB(/W? soory poor memory) about 5:30 on Darrel sounth of 176

 

Motor On that HB/W was most likely me if it was around 3.30 or 4.30 not sure on the time but I just grabbed Buster to take him to Michigan for a couple of days...Awesome back country roads there BTW./..

 

Neat I spotted one;

Caught a glimpse of a PS Cabrio on Fairfeild by 120 about 5:20 and a PS/B on Washington by Lake about 5:30 and dark MC behind a Porsche SUV at a Speedway in Gurnee about 11:30-12

 

No motorists on mondays? I drove to and from work, 100 miles round trip, and I didn't see one MINI. I did see my reflection in a minivan, does that count?

My service indicator is at 0 miles and I guess I will have to have my MINI towed to the dealer for my first oil change. My car has 12300 some miles on it!

 

^^ 6/12 is a holiday for MINI's.

 

Tonight @ 7:30 ish I was in Bristol, next to Yorkville and I spotted another HB/W MCS!!! Now, you may not think that this is a big deal but Bristol has like 500 people! I hope that he was not just lost. I didn't wave as I was in the truck, but my car was only 1.5 miles or so away.

 

I saw a CR/W MCS on Rt. 12 just south of Rt. 120 in the 1-3pm area.

 

I saw a CR Convertable S yesterday (sorry for being tardy in posting this!) with a license plate that looked like it said Scooby. It was going north on Meacham, just north of 62 at about 6 or so. It was extra sweet being that i'd just picked up my MINI from the dealer after it being in the shop for 2 weeks. Thought I'd have to settle with having an SUV between me and the MINI, but the guy sacrificed a traffic spot to be in a merge to be front of me! Neat!! Not only that, but he waved and gave me a thumbs up. Cool!

AARRRGH I'm having MINI withdrawal

I just got back from the Dells and I didn't see a single MINI for 6 days!!!!

I HAVE to go for a cruise this evening. I might start waving at everyone just to get it out of my system

I rode the Ducks tour which was the closest thing to my BRG MCC since it was green and had a soft top It's a sickness I tell you

 

03 CR/CW MC on river Rd from McHenry up til 120, then I had to turn off. Did you see my wave?

 

A PS tinted Cabrio little before 1pm on 176 in Libertyville and a RG/B MCS right behind you.

4:30pm A BRG/W on 176 east of Darrel rd. in Wacconda I turned up Darrel rd. doubt you saw me

about 5 min later I was on 176 approaching Darrel form the East when a CR/W MCS gave me a wave after turning from Darrel to 176

I think I spotted you yesterday. On 56 between 88 and 47 @ about 3ish? You were headed to 47 and I was on my way to 88. You didn't see me tho, I was driving the truck. Nice to see another member in Kendall county. I am in Bristol.

I saw two more MINIs on my trek to work yesterday. One was a gold and black MC and the driver was a jerk. He was driving the center lane on 88 and he came up on a car and flashed his lights at said car. He didn't go left to pass he just rode the guy's bumper. Then he made a late lane change to get on 355 without signaling. He was a total jerk! I was in the truck so he didn't notice me.

Also, I saw a B/W MC parked @ Sears Woodfield, (I had to do some fathers day shopping.) The paint on the bonnet and the bumper had seen better days.

 

I was behind a BRG MC yesterday on Randall Road and McHenry Avenue in Crystal Lake. I was not in my MINI so no wave.

Sorry to disappoint but it wasn't me. I was at home! Which is a shame since I was mentioning to the wife how it would be nice to get spotted.

I'm sure out paths will cross sooner than later out here in Kendall. I'm in Oswego.

Speaking of yesterday, I saw numerous MC/MCS's on our way into the city and I really need to keep a notebook handy. Best one though was a DS/B MCS heading north on LSD near Irving park @ 5ish. Had Ohio plates, I waved but no wave back but I did follow directly behind until Sheridan/Hollywood split. BTW, if you're reading this, Left rear break light was out!

 

Got a wave from some nice people in a LY/W MCS on Central Ave.

 

Soptted an SCCA (showroom stock????) ready race car in the service bay at Knauz. And a PS/B MC; no wave.

 

Saw a LS/B MC on 34 near 59 in Aurora. No wave
DS/S MCS on 34 in Naperville heading west. No wave

Saw plenty of Mini's passing Bill Jacob's this afternoon.

 

Spotted, a DS/W MCS on 53 headed south. It was a dealer car and I am sure that he was headed home from Patrick. I caught up to him and then he passed me and I followed for a few miles.

I waved, he looked confused and waved back. Oh well. Tonight was PERFECT weather to drive home!!! There was no traffic and I made REALLY good time.

 

CR/W MC with dirty front wheels, Rainbow Rd, Barringtion 4:40; I waved and got look that I can only describe as frightening

 

HB/B MC at 34/59 Intersection @ 4:15. She was heading north on 59 and I was heading west on 34 with wife in the car. I waved, she saw me but no wave back.
