This blows... mine has been listed as "in paint" on 866 ask-mini since Saturday. When I talk to a live person he says the last time my account was updated was on Saturday when it entered paint. What gives? They out of PW paint??? Did someone just not update my records?

My car was in the paint shop for 3 days. Then when it was finally updated it showed being assembled on the next day and latter that afternoon it was off to the shipyard. I guess sometimes they don't update the computer enough. I ended up being done a day before my scheduled completion date.

 

According to the Owners lounge.. MIB is still... "Scheduled for production"

I had to call 1 866-ASK MINI to get acccurate information.

 

FYI - Just realized that while the WW tracking site is displaying your Cargo Status History, you can click on the "Voyage" value, which is actually a hot link that will take you directly to the latest Voyage Details/Ship Status screen. Like this:

I am a bit worried that my car missed the ship. It still shows as only 'Booked' on the UNDINE's current voyage. I will check tomorrow and just hope it wasn't left at the docks honking good-bye to all its Shipmates...

An able sailor left at the dock as the ship departs. What an unhappy scene that must be. Lots of ships though, Damn the torpedos, FULL SPEED ahead.

 

Just checked all of the sites this morning. Owner's Lounge has my status as "Awaiting Transport". After checking W&W I see that my MCS did not make the Undine and is now booked on the PATRIOT scheduled to arrive at Charleston on 11/26.

Why did they tease me such that they did by originally showing my Cooper on the UNDINE?

I assume that the Patriot will probably have most of us on it, as it leaves on 11/14 from Southampton.

WW does not have my VIN in their database as of yet.

 

Somebody kicked my car off the Bloody UNDINE !!

It swam back to shore and will be left cold, damp and shivering on the dock until the PATRIOT picks it up on Monday the 14th....

 

All of this week's NY and SC bound ships have sailed. Did anyone from week 45 get aboard? Have you been undone by the Undine?

 

In production... New Estimated completion date 11/10/05 They say I will not make the boat by 15th but most likely the 17th.

Started production on 10/31/05 and takes 2+ Weeks to build?!?!?!?!?! What pulls the MINIs down the production line, Snails? Three Toed Tree Sloths?

What do they have to do to make one? Find 3 or 4 dead Classic Mini dead on the roadside and smelt them down?

 

mine is still scheduled for completion tomorrow. I think the problem is that there are so many waiting to go on the ships that they quickly fill up. there were week 44 people bumped to the 11/14 boat... which leads me to believe that there could be a lot of the space taken up by week 44 cars and then the next few boats will be all week 45 cars. I'm hoping mine gets a boat ride on the 17th, but wouldn't hate it if it comes up earlier!

 

Mine is tracking as loaded on to the boat and the boat is at sea so I'm set

 

I am having trouble finding the link all of you are using to track which ships your Minis are being loaded on...would anyone be able to provide me with that link???

ASK-MINI still has me in Paint (Since Saturday!) with a completion date of 11/7! Anyone else see a problem with that date??? Either they ran out of PW paint, they painted it the wrong color and needed to repaint it 15 or 16 times or they just didn't update the database! wuzza

 

That's a bummer...Mine's a PW also, called today and and they said mine entered the paintshop yesterday with a completion date of tomorrow....I would assume yours should be completed no later than tomorrow then too. Did you talk to a live person?

 

I talked to a live person last nite... He said he sees on his computer exactly what the automated message says so I've been checking the automated message today.

 

Just checked with 1-866-ASK-MINI, and my car is in transit to the dock and will probably wait around for about 7 to 10 days before getting on a ship to the West Coast. The website still has my car scheduled for production (useless in my case). Mini has told me they are now out of the loop, but I shall check with the ship carrier, using the link provided on this forum and plug in my VIN number to various ships that are leaving for the West Coast. Is that how some of you are verifying whether your car is on a specific ship?

Sorry, but some West Coast bound MINIs cannot be tracked like the East Coast bound MINIs. Some cars use the NYK line whose website lacks ship tracking.

I have listed ships scheduled for West Coast departure on the top of the next page. You have to contact your Motoring Advisor to find out your car's ship and its progress. Then you can try to watch your ship pass through the ports along the way using the links from the first page in this thread (posting #5).
