In any case, I don't yet have it and I am hopeing for a December 7-9 delivery, but planning on around the 14th. I figure if I plan for later in the cycle I will be less likely to be dissappointed in the long run.

Estimated Delivery Date
Just thought I would quit lurking and actually post.
My MCSC is on the Boheme, and now has an estimated delivery date of 11/30. It was at 12/2, but changed this morning. By the way, I also ordered from Otto's.

edit: oh and THANK GOD! I just checked the OL and now show delivery 12/3. happy thanksgiving to me!
Estimated delivery date of 12/04!
So has anyone confirmed whether the date in the owners lounge is the date it's delivered to the dealer, or if it's the date they plan to have the car ready for pick-up?

Patriot
For all you people with precious cargo on the Patriot, AIS Live shows the Patriot in port of Baltimore.
I also check the owner's lounge and found a EDD of 12/4. CeridianMN, I would expect that you're the same since we're going to the same dealer, right?
Here is the Port of Charleston schedule. http://www.port-of-charleston.com/Vessel_schedule.asp

The OL for me finally says a delivery date of 12/7
The Patriot is supposed to be in Charleston on the 28th, so I guess I must be at the back of the boat.
Its too bad that we can't pick up the car in SC.

My reasoning is that while talking to the sales manager about getting the factory vice the dealer JCW one of his thoughts was prep time. Apparently he would rather prep and push the car fast, and JCW took two days of service bay time to get out. As it is I'm getting suspension, side skirts, and door sills. I figure there's a decent chance I'll be the last on that truck to get mine. So, even though I've been thinking it'll bere at the dealer by early the week of Dec 4-10 I have been not planning on picking it up until closer to the 14th.

Still no Estimated Delivery Date for delivery to the West Coast. The Tosca should be going through the Panama Canal on the Nov. 28th. Perhaps when we are closer to the in port Date of Dec. 7th, us West Coasters will receive an EDD. Hopefullly by that date we'll be looking at pictures of the Mini's being delivered next week.
While waiting patiently for my Mini, I went to the SF Int'l Auto Show only to see a '06 Chili Red MCS Convertible with full JCW treatment. What was really strange was that this Mini was only 2 digits from the production # on my car! With the exception of the full body treatment on the Show Car, it looked like my twin and was made next to my car at assembly. This car must have been airlifted for the U.S. Auto Shows, now there's a concept.
Anyways, looking at the people oh'ing and ah'ing over all the Mini's made me want my car all the more. Hands down, Mini's were the most interesting line of automobiles at the Show. The Pontiac Solstice looked nice, but the interior had too much plastic and the dashboard swooped in the passenger cabin, taking 25 % of the interior space. What were they thinking? The '06 Miata was far better, but that's for another forum I belong to.
Still waiting patiently, in the meantime, bring cameras to the showroom when taking delivery of your car and share it with the rest of us.

I hope my car is at the dealer on monday, tuesday or wednesday... thurs and fri are bad for me because of previous commitments. That would BLOW if it was ready Thursday and I had to wati till Sat to pick it up!
I was just at the dealer today ordering my R99 anthracite wheels, and they set up my delivery for wednesday! I told them that was rather optimistic, as the Patriot isn't supposed to be in Charleston until Sunday, and the OL has my "estimated delivery date" set at 12/7. The finance manager at the dealer said those dates are always conservative - I asked how a shipping and dock schedule could be conservative - but whatever. If they think the car will be in by wednesday, then fine with me. I just don't think its going to happen.

My EDD is "Finally" showing up on the OL as 12/7, just as I have been predicting.
My dealership is only 90 min.s drive time from the VDC, so of course, my car will be the last PATRIOT passenger processed there.
