Now you guys don't go looking for Mitsubishis just because you get your cars on Dec 7th. That was a long time ago and you have a break-in period to finish!

Honestly, I don't know which was harder, waiting for the boat to get across the ocean or keeping it under 4500 rpm for 1250 miles, and I still have 800 to go!

I hear you... I only drive about 500 miles or so a month because of my relatively short commute... so I've set aside an extra $500 to cover all the gas I need so I don't even think twice about just driving wherever I want to. hopefully I can get the break in done within the first month! I'm sure it will feel like FOREVER. not to mention that everyone wants me to show them what it will do and I really can't until after then!

I am estimating my delivery date as 12/9/05. That should give it 5 days to get through VDC and get to D&R in Indy

I'm estimating my delivery date to be 12-2-05. That allows for 4 days to get through VDC and get to Century in Greenville, SC.

I'm thinking somewhere around the 14th of December. I need to get through the VDC, all the way to Minnesota, and then get my last few goodies added on.

Nope. No esitmated delivery date here. I've "Review order detail"'d at least six times today and still it isn't there. So, I'm guessing. I'm giving plenty of time so that will hopefully prevent me from a dissappointment.I'd love to get it sooner, but I figure it may be one of the last ones dished out from the truck it arrives on as I need to get the goodies added at the dealer. They'll probably want to get the first few out right away and not work on mine until a day or two later.

Yes I'm guessing based on information others have provided here. I also am not showing an estimated delivery date. My dealer is a 4-5 hour drive from the VDC. My MA said they usually get cars in a couple of days after reaching the VDC.

I must be blind as I see no date in my profile. Maybe that happens when the MINI gets to VDC?

I can't find anything about an estimated delivery date in the OL either. I've clicked on everything in there and there is no date displayed. Either way, I'm guessing Dec. 1st as the sales manager at my dealer says it takes 3 days for the cars to get to him from Charleston.

Its getting kind of cold down here though - the high today will only be 68f! Still probably warm enough for top down motoring though!

I can't remember if the spot for the date even came up before it was filled in, so I figured I'd show everyone what I was talking about. this is what it looks like

What happened to the Boheme? They teased us with 6 hour updates through the middle of the voyage and now that it is getting closer - nothin.

Does the date listed in the OL represent our pickup date or the day the dealer delivers it? I guess this is a better question for my MA.

Is it bad that I've started checking the extended forcasts to know what my first week of motoring will be like?

Thank you for showing us exactly where it would appear. It seems that some us do not yet have an estimated delivery date, and I assume that includes all of us receiving our cars on the West Coast. As far as having our cars released from VDC, looking at past posts, it could be as short as 3 days and as long as 9 days.

What the fruck?

I E-mailed my MA Richard today. Asked him how long it would take for MIB to get through VDC and then on the truck to D&R. He told me that it would take 4-5 days to get to D&R after MIB clears VDC.

Then the BOMB exploded....

Notice the name of the ship. ???

Could have sworn it was on the Patriot.

MIB is on the Kline EDMEN! Departed on the 15th and not scheduled Scheduled in Port at 11/28/05 and in VDC at 12/1/05!

Looks like I can kiss 12/9 good bye! Now 12/16 at the earliest, maybe even 12/23. THAT BITES!

Patience Dean! Patience! :impatient

Anyone know how to track a KLine ship? Anyone know the call sign for the Edmen?

Help I've lost my MINI!

I just spoke with my MA, he said my car is due in Charleston 11-28. He says the cars are trucked from Charleston to the BMW plant in Greer, SC for final processing and distribution. Has anyone else heard this? He said they would like to get the 3 they have coming in delivered by the end of the month, but doesn't know if it will happen, probably by the end of next week.

How did you find out the ship was wrong? Isn't it listed in the manifest on the Patriot? Mine is in there if I go by the booking number.

Oh, and here's what I see in OL (Of course, Prod # and VIN are actually filled in when I look at it...):

The Emden callsign is 3ERP5 for you ship trackers. It does update frequently.
