Which of course gets to the matter of how effective is the Mini tracking really? I mean I know this is all a game (that I'm willing to play) tracking a car being made and delivered. But it seems as though after being born, the tracking seems to be somewhat uninformative.
True. We only have little tidbits of info, and sometimes even what we have is misleading. Of course, if Google Maps had live feeds and could zoom in just a little more, I swear I could get a screen-cap of my MINI sitting on the docks right now!
In the end, I'm just having fun, feeding my imagination, and learning a little about the process of how MINIs get into the hands of their owners.

Still not on a WW ship, in fact they haven't updated the loading info on any of the ships as far as I can tell.
At the dealer right now and my MA just have the car awaiting shipping but he thinks it could be loaded already. Hopefully I have more info before I leave the dealer today.
well i am officially awaiting transport. hopefully my MINI can get on one of these ships soon. now i am very excited, hopefully i will be able to drive her very soon.
You can get your VIN when you track your order at Mini owners lounge. Then go to http://www.2wglobal.com/, then under customer center, click on, cargo tracking, then click on auto tracking. Then enter your VIN. It will give you updates on your shipment
I just called and even tho the OL still says production, the people at Mini said its been at the port since sunday...so i'm still full of hope that it makes it on the ship out tomm.
Well......start reading through some of the threads here. It means your gem is produced but waiting for a boat home. Some of us have been waiting for a while. Good luck!
The FAUST is docked and over 200 additional cars have already been booked on it bound for New York, and some have already been loaded. (I only found the booking number for cars bound for New York; I suspect there is another booking number for cars bound for Charelston.)
