My car is here!! It is currently in a locked parking lot waiting for my
pickup appointment. I was so anxious to see it that I drove down on Saturday
only to find the dealorship closed. My car was the very last car at the end
of the row behind the bushes. LOL Here is a pic.....can you see it thru the
bushes?

 

BTW, I felt like a stalker. I had to go into someones elses parking lot and crawl
into the bushes

 

Congrats!!!! After all the worry you got your mini before most everybody else! Can't wait to see unobstructed pictures! Now you have your first story to go with your mini!!!

 

Well my OL says my expected delivery date is 9/7 which is perfect because I am waiting on my last paycheck to have all of my down payment. Now I just hope it doesn't get delayed like a lot of the folks in week 32. Does anyone else have an estimated delivery date??

 

My estimated delivery date according to the OL is/was 9/1, so maybe the rig will be in tues? (OL also shows 'At Your Mini Dealer'...)

 

Another 6 days for the ship to dock, and a few days later the Mini will be ours...

 

My OL says ETA is/was 9/2/07, so we shall see, it also says at VDC still, so i dont know.

 

There's light at the end of the tunnel...

Posted this earlier but w/ no answers...

does anyone else's OL say the car status is "Retail?" Mine does but on the list of potential status on the side "Retail" isn't even an option. In fact, the arrow points to "On Order" even though it was on "En Route" before this and my delivery date is stated as 9/3/2007. I also know, according to my MA, that the car is due at the dealer this week.

Anyway, i'm just being paranoid since the car is sooooo close.

You might want to post that as a new thread. I don't think anyone in this pw knows, but some of the long term nammers might! Hope you get your car soon. I would just give a call to your MA to see if he/she has any idea where your car is!

 

I'm hearing lots of good things about delivery dates. My MA is off today but I'm going to call first thing tomorrow to see where mine is.

 

MA just called me, picking up "Beeta" tomorrow after work.

I am a little shocked.

I've be driving a rental since last Friday (Ford Focus).

I just expected it'd be later this week....

anyone else here on the east coast have theirs yet?

 

Going to see mine tonight, MA called to say it was in... hope to pick it up on Thurs.

I can hardly wait until my MA is in tomorrow.

 

Well, got to see the new rig tonight... covered inside and out in protective plastic, smeared w/grease here and there... after circling the car a few dozen times in the lot, I went in to see my MA... saw him across the dealer floor, our eyes met, walking towards each other, getting ready to shake the man's hand, about 10 feet apart when... wham!... the manager steps between us w/ another customer for my MA to order up a car for... I drove a whole 6 or 7 miles for this?! (yeah, I live that close)...was about to leave the dealer and head home when I hear 'hey!'... I turn, my MA was able to break away from his new sale long enough to toss me the key... I catch it, now w/the key in my hand, I walk outside for a better look...

 

Thats awesome that you got to see it. I also live really close to my dealer (about 1.5 miles) I was thinking about trying to stake it out and see it come off the truck, but I figured I would rather wait and see it all shiny and perfect!

 

I also went to the dealer to see mine tonight. My MA was cool about me and my wife taking a look and brought the car out from the back to the front so we could get a good look at her. Needless to say everything looks great inside and out... we're going back to hopefully close things up tomorrow.

 

Mini is here!! I picked up my Mini today at 10:30 AM!
What a wonderful little car! It was love at first sight
I found a little something near my AUX plug...a usb.
The delivery guy said I could buy a usb adapter from the
parts dept and it would play my iPod and show me the titles
and such. So ofcoarse I bought the adapter and low and behold
the little sucker works. I was floored! I had thought of buying
the retro fit since It wasn't availible to me when I placed my order.
Yipeee!!!!! Anyone else get this or was it a mini opps?

How much was the usb ipod adapter? I am using a thunb drive right now. It shows the songs and can controll through the wheel.
