Thanks GreyLight I'm in Denver so no idea. Texas is closer than California, but who knows. I think I'll call ask mini tomarrow.

I'm in NM and ours come in from the West Coast, so I suspect Denver is WC, too.

Gracias for the useful and heartening info, Greylight. It's probably as fast as it coming throught the port of Houston for me.

I can't imagine having a nice long stretch of deserted West Texas freeway stretched out in front of me, with a new car that I have to go easy on. I know too many people who have this story: there they are, going 120 on I-20 west of Odessa, and they have a trooper pull up next to them and simply point downward, telling them to slow down. I don't think that I could resist. Hopefully; the knowledge the knowledge that (according to the unfinished gamevdrift*) the break-in rpm of 4500 rpm translates into 108 mph in 6th, will keep any new owners happy on their trip home. Hey, at least West Texas will not last that long.

*This game does not actually have a MINI S in it. It actually has a r53 MINI. It's open source, so I edited mine so that it has an R56 S engine and transmission. I used what I ordered, 16"s for the tire size. You guys who ordered the 17's might have to go a little slower, you are 2.2mm shorter. The r56 and the r53 are fairly close as far as the game model goes, and it does have realistic physics. I have not talked to anyone about including it in the game.

So I call this morning to see what ship it will be getting on and they inform me that is will be finishing assembley in the next 2 days? I am confused cause the guy I spoke with yesterday was saying it was finishing production yesterday and would be boarding asap.

Owners Lounge updated to awaiting transportation today, so it was a day behind ask-mini phone number.

It sure looks like we have a lot of people that will be on west coast boats. Maybe someone could post the scheduled boats for both east and west coast if anyone has it? I think some of the ship dates are getting near. I saw post about the 17th, 20th, 21st , 27th. I think some were west coast and some were east coast.

What date and dealer did everyone order there mini?

July 30th / Long Beach mini

Hey tuxxer, I ordered a few days before you, also at Long Beach Mini. I'm guessing we're on the same boat into Port Hueneme in Oxnard. Once the cars get there, mine will stay another week at the port so you'll have yours a week sooner. It would be nice to know what boat we're on.

Hey Blackpearl, why are you at port an extra week? Just curious.

I ordered mine from Towne Mini, so the VDC will be NJ for me.

The shipping schedule for WW lines is here.

Ordered mine from Sandia Mini on Aug 4. Should be out of production on Aug 17.

I read on the WW shipping site that they "require" cargo be ready for loading at the port 4 days before loading. They're probably just CYA'ing, but I can see where they might need some serious planning to load the cargo as efficiently as possible. More fodder for Number Six missing the BOHEME on the 20th, but I'm still holding onto some hope.

Tuxxer, I'm at port an extra week for installing the JCW aerokit. They don't install it at the plant.

I ordered 7/21, at Moritz Mini, and it hit the body shop today. Hopefully the fact that it's work happened mid-week will bode well for its future.

Looks like I'm actually week 33 and not 34 like I thought. I called ASK MINI and the voice and the real person said my car is in paint and could be finished as early as today but likely tomorrow.
Hopefully she is done tomorrow, clears the QA process fast and gets to Southhampton in time for the boat on the 25th at the latest.

Congrats, Rastven! It must be getting pretty crowded in the warehouse by now!

This next wave of MINIs seems to be building to a crescendo. Some West Coasters from previous PWs have been reporting that they were booted off the TAGUS and are (expected to be?) booked on the BOHEME. Fortunately, the BOHEME is "gi-normous" - I think it's the largest size ship that will fit through the locks in Panama, and holds almost 2000 extra cars compared to most of the other ships in the WW fleet.

For East Coasters, there's also a possibility your MINI could end up on a K-Line ship. The schedule for K-Line transatlantic routes is here. Sadly, K-LIne has no cargo tracking for VINs.

I'm starting to be concerned. Our Mini was completed on 8/13 and has been sitting around somewhere and no change in status since. OL saids that it is still "scheduled for production" status while calling ASK MINI saids the car is done and waiting to be taken to the port. If the BOHEME leaves on 8/20 shouldn't it be at the port by today or tomorrow?

Mine has been done since the 10th with no movement. I wish I had a dollar for all the times I've checked the WW site. Now to know that it might be on another carrier (East Coast) I might not know where it is until it reaches the dealer. The OL seems to be "sketchy".

It is scheduled to arrive and depart the same day, the 20th. Still has to visit Bremerhaven on 17th, then Zeebrugge the 18th. So it is getting close for loading of yuor Mini's.
