Wow!! Looks like you got quite the package! I wish I could have afforded a few more things but oh well!! I test drove an automatic and really liked it, but something about getting an S made me get a manual. Now I have 6 weeks to get better at driving one!
Great to see someone else ordered Park Distance Control.....you, me and maybe five other people in the world. Hehehe!
I have, but it's also known to be a bit behind the 866-ASK-MINI. With that said I think you need a production number or VIN to do the ASK-MINI, and if you have either one, you should be able to get into the owner's lounge.
You'll need a VIN or production number to get anything out of ASKMINI or to get signed up for the OL.
mystfynyou - Thanks! I've waited a while for this and with it being my first car I really want it to be as close to perfection as possible. I actually thought about getting the manual but my being SO horrible at driving one combined with the fact that the automatic in the MINI is pretty much top notch made me decide to go ahead with it :-P
minikimme - Lol, yea it's quite nice to see indeed. I was actually embarrassed ordering it on such a small car at first, but on my campus we just about ALWAYS have to parallel park and visibility out that back window can be challenging at times! Hahaha

On our first outing we could drive through the countryside backwards!
I wish I had thought about PDC, I sure need it! I am terrible at backing up! That little rear window isn't going to help! Only 2 more days and I should have my production number! I can't believe it hasn't even been a week since I made the order-it feels like it has been a lifetime!!
By the time I take delivery on mine, it will be just under 3 months from the time I placed my order. Your MA should give a production number shortly after you sign off on the final build sheet. Once you have this number you can register in the OL (owners lounge) on MiniUSA.com and you can also use the production order number to get information from 866 ASK MINI.
Once again, the best way to find out initial information on your order is your MA.
Good luck!!
Can I join this party?
Well...after a couple of months of thinking
about it I finally ordered my MCS (specs in SIG) on Saturday
. Thanks to all those on NAM that have unknowningly assited me with my configuation decisions
. This forum is an excellent source of information. I have my production number and my MA says I am a week 32 build. I look forward to sharing the wait :impatient with all of my week 32 brothers and sisters.

I am already over budget but still debating since we have not gone into production yet if I want to add the antracite headliner and the chrome exterior package and the folding mirrors? Also trying to deceide between the gotham grey or the other stock dark color.
Budget? Whats that?
The way I look at it is If you are spending 25 to 30K what is an extra $600 to $800. Get what you want or delay the purchase until you can save the extra money. I would get what you want at the time of order because some of the items are tough to change or add later.

Go for it...
