I spoke with the dealer today and my car did not get released yet from the VDC. So no delivery this weekend. Well here's hoping I get the call sometime next week.

Got mine tonight - no USB port - but a new GONG!/BONG!/DONG! instead of DINKDANKDINKDANK!! when you put your key in.

Also have the new cruise control that when set displays your speed with a frown above it.

 

Anyone heard anything about the K-line's Frisia?

 

I started a thread yesterday saying that it docked In Charleston. I just got off the phone with my MA who said my Mini is at the VDC. He thinks it will be here in Ohio maybe on Thursday!

Today the OL says my delivery date is 9/4. Wait, that's.......Tuesday!

It's funny how my wife really likes Minis and most of the colors but as soon as she saw PW, she said OK, let's get one.

My OL said 8/30/07 but that date past. Then it said 9/01/2007. That date past. I'm seeing an unpleasant trend developing.

It took 10 days to get from England to the US with a stop in Canada along the way. It appears that 50 mile trip from the VDC in NJ to the dealership in NJ requires more time than that.

no pain. my MA said 9/9. Then I saw the OL saying 9/8. Actually, my MA has done a great job managing my expectations. He really doesn't expect it to get here and be ready for pickup until after the 16th.

 

Hello, I was in week 32 with ya'll but was pushed back to week 33. I wanted to let you know that I also have the USB like Eurokoke.....and I am also in Germany. I asked the delivery guy if he knew anything about it and he didn't. He thought it was coming standard. I also bought a usb adapter from the parts dept and it allows me to see the songs on the speedo and change them and the volume on the stearing wheel. Yippee!! Btw, I don't have the nav or the upgraded sound system......just that gigantic speedo!

The delay from the VDC to the dealer now makes sense. I found out from my MA that the car was scratched in transit. I am waiting for the official damage report.

 

Congratulations on receiving your Mini. It seems the Mini's destined for Germany are the ones getting the USB port. So far yours and Eurokoke's seem to be the only ones to have it. Enjoy!

My Ma called late yesterday with the damage report. There was a small scratch that was repaired at the VDC. I plan on inspecting the car tomorrow and if everything looks goods I will take delivery at that time.

 

Finally, I pick mine up tonight!
