Thejonathanpaul: I say order what you want you have atleast 4 weeks to come up with the extra money! I don't quite have enough for my car right now, but by the time it comes I will!! That is the only thing that is making waiting bearable.

I should be getting my production number tomorrow! If my MA doesn't contact me I will be calling first thing Wed am!

 

Hello fellow 32nd weekers! I just ordered my mcs today and found out this my production week. I was also told that I would have it by early to mid september. Sorry i this is a repeat i started a thread and felt it should be with the rest of the 32 week crowd. This is the mcs that I ordered:

Well, it may arrive at the dealer tomorrow. I'm hoping I'll be able to take delivery on Friday.

In regards to not going crazy. NAM helps a lot, you know there are others out there in the same situation that are waiting the same as you. Take deep breaths and know that when you do take delivery, it will be well worth the wait.

 

Well I hope this week goes by quickly for you and eveyone else who is waiting!! I am knee deep in moving/painting so today went by sooo fast! My plan is to just stay super busy for the next 6 weeks.

Sorry, forgot to mention. I live in Aberdeen, Scotland So only 400 miles from Oxford.

 

I was just wondering because of the 08 specs. I know that the UK is getting them now but the US wont have the 08s till Dec/Jan.

FINALLY got my production number and into the owners lounge today! Nothing new to report, it just says on order. He said it was scheduled to go into production at the end of august and be here by the first or second week in september. I am thinking he meant July because there is no way it could get here in 2 weeks after it went into production. If July is right, that def. sets me at week 32. If I call ask mini tomorrow will they be able to give me the exact week? Thanks!

Us folks in Germany can't get into the owners lounge with the production number. I was told by 1866ASK MINI that we will be able to get in once we get our VIN#'s

My husband said the same thing... Guy was a little too excited about the car. Also,I think some of his infor was wrong.
Glad you got a good laugh from it. I had been looking for a good walk threw on the car...best I could fine. If you turn the volume off the video is so bad.

im sorry minikimmee! it sucks that they promised you one time and are now changing it. maybe you can call ask mini to see if the no changes thing is true or not. i say if they say it is not, talk to your sa to see if you can make a new order. seems like if you are adding things they may comply since the car will bring more revenue. is your good faith money refundable? i would not take a car i was not completely satisfied with. it is not a $25 shirt that you could deal with small problems. it is a car! when spending that much money you should not have regrets! i hope it all works out for you!

Well I called ask mini today and the automated thing said that I am "scheduled for production with no confirmed production date" and the person said that I was in daily production and that production would begin this week or next week. What is everyone else's status??
