does anyone know how long it takes for minis to get to the east coast?? I looked but all I could find was shipping info on west coasters.

This is what my Minis interior will look like..

 

[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]The vessel crossing time from England to the US varies from 8 days to 2 weeks depending on the freight line and the conditions at sea. Two weeks being the longest time you would normally see. But remember that after crossing there is the time to unload the ship, time at the VDC, shipping time to the dealer and finally the dealer prep time. All of which can add another couple of weeks to the process. In the end, I think 4 weeks from shipping to final delivery to you is a good estimate. Hopefully your wait will be less.[/SIZE][/FONT]

I am not sure if I am week 32 or not, but I looked online and my order status has been upgraded to "scheduled for production."

Anyone else see an update? I am pretty sure this makes me a week 32 person in need of support also.

 

Since you said that, I went and checked and apparently I have upgraded to scheduled for production also. Woot!

NoOOoOO.. I am sad. I'm still at on order at the owner's lounge and scheduled for production with no confirmed date at 866-ASKMINI. sigh...

Same thing Mataku. I am "On Order" still. But at ask mini they still said week 32 so maybe we are just near the end of the production run. Let's hope!!

I am in the same boat. The Owner's Lounge and ASK MINI still show me as on order. I have been told that these systems do not update in real time and we may still be in production week 32. It would be nice, however, to see a confirmed production date. Hang in there friends. I am sure we will get good news soon.

 

I checked the owner's lounge this morning and my status was changed from "on order" to "scheduled for production". And lo and behold a VIN number was shown as well. It seems like the car, that till now has only been a concept, will soon become a reality. The anticipation is building.

 

Has anyone from Germany received their VIN# yet from the dealer? Our production numbers wont let us into the owners lounge......

Im not sure if it ends at this time but when I called 1866askmini the recording said that my mcs started aug. 2 and it would be finished on aug. 8th. I would call and find out. Good luck.

 

The production weeks run from Sunday through Saturday. Production week 32 began today August 5 and will complete on Saturday August 11.

ASK MINI has my car scheduled to complete production on Friday August 10. I hope you get your production date soon.

 

Has anybody at all found that the owner's lounge lags behind the ASK MINI? I checked my owners lounge, but am a bit lazy to call ASK MINI unless it for sure it ahead.

I've been through this six times before - this is now number 7. I ordered a Week 3 production R56, received it and it's been in the shop three times now for the dreaded 3rd to 2nd gear synchro/flywheel issue. I've got paperwork in to do the MINI "Dealer Assist Program"

Whew! Phone calls to MINI said mine was scheduled for production starting tomorrow (aug. 5) and now the online Owner's Lounge has caught up with that.

We're ready! Let's go, week 32'ers!! Just a few hours until our babies enter production!!
