Front strut is blown: time to get H&R coilover?
While getting my car aligned today I discovered that my front strut was leaking severely. Instead of replacing it with another strut I figured I might as well go with some coilovers. I was thinking of getting the H&R street coilover kit. This is my daily driver and I want to lower it for astetic purpose and to have new struts. Does anyone have experience with the HR coilovers?
just a thought...how bout the Tein ones?i know they arent as heavily marketed as the others but if you spend a bit more you can get the EDFC kit which allows you to remote adjust the dampening force
Thanks for the suggestion yellowbritishrocket but my budget was in the 800's. The tiens seem like a great option but cost more than what I would like and probably have too many features that will not be of use to me on the streets.

I've seen some shock dynos of the various brands of coilovers on various forums and have not been impressed with the quality control and the damping curves. I'd definitely go for H&R or one of the more respected brands if budget allows. Like all things in life - you get what you pay for.
