Megan Coilover Owner Update

For all who are running the current incarnation of the Megan Racing Coilover.Have the problems of the previous designs been corrected?I'm on the eve of buying Megans.I'm intersted in the "street" model that sells for 850$.
Are you still liking them? What control arms are you running w/them?
thanks

I still have the originals with the original springs and still have never had any problems....even with the new pot holes showing up thanks to winter :impatient

Also....just check out the people praising the BC coilovers.....same coilovers different name.

I know that they're 850+60 shipping on ebay.

http://undergroundmotorsports.com carries them at the lowest priced allowed by Megan and offers free shipping i believe.

I dunno...never had it measured. Probably around -1.8 degrees when i was at my lowest ride height. I ran -2.5 up front.

This was my ride height...no idea how much lower it is than stock. I still have a few threads left. It's probably a little more than 2.5 inches lowered over all.

I am also running the current Megan Coilovers with 8kg/6kg spring rates and I have Megan lower control arms, just waiting to install them. I got my from AutoXCooper.com and cant complain about who I purchased them from or the Megans themselves.

Does this include the flexible rear adjuster cables?
Thanks, Chris.

Hello Chris,

It does not include the cables. Most owners set the damper and leave it. The cables are $30 to $40 based on the length you want. Many have drilled holes to run them into the boot for easy adjustment. I have a PDF of how this is done. Ready to order? Just drop me a PM.

Thanks Jon ! I've really wanted a set of these, of course you knew that with all the questions I've thrown at you about them . I'd love to get some tips on a good starting point when I get them. I know we touched base a little on the subject.

Here's a dumb question.....

Coilovers already come with the springs in place, correct? So basically an install will be just a simple removal of the strut assembly/shock assembly and mounting of the coilovers...?
