Saw a dirty CR/W S on state college in fullerton yesterday around 7 in traffic. Driving lights lowered on what looked to be eibachs, and sporting an alta sticker.

I'm seeing a ton of MINIs in the Placentia area were I work now. Saw a cool little Cooper --Chili Red with major flames--looked like a hot wheel, but no wasn't a Fireball Tim Hot Wheel, lol. Was hard to see through the tint, but looked like a high school kid- or someone very tiny driving!

I've waved to several--all I get back is a "duh" look. Yesterday, rolled down my window and waved to an MCS that was facing me, and the guy sort of waved back. So many MINIs, no wavers though.

Saw a DS R53 MCS with tinted windows and a SCMM decal on the boot window driving down 190th in torrance. I would've waved, but I wasn't driving my mini

Anybody in Fallbrook?

I have a BRG/W JCW and live in car heaven - Fallbrook. I found a few references to FB spottings. This place really is car heaven - one Ferrari and two Alfa collectors in town, several hot rod and offroad race truck builders, even a guy down the street converts Fieros to Ferraris and Lambos.

While in the Long Beach area, after having my CAI and 15% pulley installed at Johnny's Auto Clinic, I saw Minis everywhere! I couldn't believe it. I saw one PW that was mod'd out flyin' with me on the 110 North.

By the way, I highly recommend Johnny's Auto Clinic! Thanks Johnny!

Lovely Rita!

Returning from a day-long run, a group of West Coast MINIs and I were tooling westward on I-10, somewhere between yucaipa and highland. Rita* and her feathered co-pilot flies up the highway in her Convertible CR/B and joins our queue for a few clicks. Then she zipped out and passed all of us, waving all the while! Awesome!

*(Note: she had a sticker on her boot that said "Rita" on it).

And to think, two years ago I didn't even know where Fallbrook was! HWY-76 is where West Coast MINIs often meets up before/after a group run. (At the Park-N-Ride, next to Nessy Burger)! You should join us sometime!

When I was parked in front of Johnny's shop in San Pedro, a BRG did drive by me with the West Coast Mini sticker flying on the back window.

That might have been me, teehee! ^_- I'm always driving down 190th.

Saw a Silver ( I'm assuming Pure Silver?) 2007 MC with I think it was an aero kit ( gah ) going up 190th this morning in Torrance. Got a quick wave too! :D

honestly it seems like I see at least 5 mini's per day. i live in Santa Monica, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. But it seems like 75% of the time interestingly women are driving the cooper S. Mini was smart to make the S type automatic...

What does automatic have to do with women liking the S type? My wife prefers to drive the stick without exception, as do lots of other females I have known.

Here here! I'm a woman and I wanted the S before I could even drive a stick AND before the S came in automatic! Bought the car without knowing how to drive it, heh. But I'm seriously a stick-snob at this point -- if it's not a stick, I don't want to drive it!

Edit: to make this legal -- saw a DS/B MCS on the 405 this morning! had a checkered top and side mirrors :D I was two lanes over in the fast lane, so I couldn't wave. Guy with glasses driving!

Some Jersey Gal Spotted

Yesterday we were heading south on 605 when I came up on an either Indi or Hyper Blue/White MCS with New Jersey plates.

My first thought was MINI USA vehicle but the young Asian gal driving it didn't even acknowledge the presence of another MINI!

I tried waving and honking with no luck. Can't use the excuse that she might've thought I was flirting 'cause my wife was next to me, thus, easily visible by the snooty lady.

Anybody here have the plate GOMINI5? LY/W MCS.

I followed him last night around 6:30 on I-5 South to I-8 East. Driving a little on the crazy side and wearing what appeared to be racing tires with only one groove.

There's another Electric Blue MCS at our building(the Banco Popular one) on Disneyland Drive in Anaheim. The other Electric Blue is driven by my Manager. If this is you let us know who you are.
