Major MINI Spottage this morning

i5 North bound around 7AM ?

Spotted a

BRG MCS with an aftermarket exhaust
CR/W MC with very dirty white wheels
PW/B MCS with a girl driving

There was a bit of an Italian job thing going on with the R/W/B (Mine is HB) for a few miles where we where running together or a car apart at most.

I waved - but no resonses that I noticed

 

 

Had a fun exchange with a PS MCS this morning. License plate "Brit 2ps" I believe, on the 405 South from El Segundo. You waved, I flashed, not sure if you saw me.

I'm gonna get these put on those cheesy signs with a handle and give it to her next time we meet. I'll see if my wife has any other ideas!

 

Tonight I saw a jb/w mc heading east on the 91 around 6pm, with MINIKTY plates and kitty stickers on the windows.

 

I hope a girl was driving...

Burnt Orange MCC on Atlantic Blvd in Monterey Park tonight around 5:50pm. I waved, but it was dark.

 

spotted 4 MINI's today, but couldn't get good "eye contact" to initiate any waves.

 

CR/W and PW/B southbound on Pioneer Blvd. in Hawaiian Gardens just after 3 this afternoon. (I was leaving work.) Both waved while the PW honked. The Pepper White was one car behind the Chili Red.
I was in left-turn lane to get onto Carson.

 

^I would call that a "great day" for waves.

Looks like you and have similarly colored MCSs. Although mine is a manual and not an automatic, so they can't be exact twins.

before I made my final decision to go with DS/S with the same bonnet stripe, I looked at your gallery to make sure I liked the same set up. So thanks for leading the way.

 

Yesterday around 6ish pm, I was driving north on the 605 at carson blvd up till the freeway, and I was next to a regular chili red mini with a hot a$$ asian girl driving. she waived and smiled at my sexy DS/B mini.

Last night, After taffic came to a stop and go drive. there where 4 of us in the same spot!!!

One was a PW/PW, i knew who that was.. it was snapples from Motoringunderground..

there was a DS and another AB/AB. we owned the 4 lanes!

 

Got a friendly honk and wave from a yellow MCS with body colored roof today as I got onto the 90East on Centinela. I was headed to Irvine for a detail job.

 

2 days in a row, from Dana Point to Newport Beach and back, saw a total of 12 other motorists, waves back from 3, and a nice chat with a gentleman in a silver mcsc waiting for the light to change.... Love getting the waves returned - puts a giant grin on my face!

 

I'm pretty happy when I get 25% wave backs too.

 

Saw a very nice looking BRG Mini S at American Shooting Center Monday. Such a classy color. Love it.

 

weird thing happened to me yesterday, I'm sitting at the light, and saw a GREAT looking CR/W MCS (no stripes) with a chrome grill come up on my rear view on El Toro Blvd. in Lake Forest. He had a clear shot to come up right behind me, but the WEIRD thing is that he chose not to. He seemed undecided where to go as he continued shifting lanes from side to side always staying 1 car behind me.

 

Saw a CR MCC on the 5s last Sunday afternooon. Played tag a little and got a wave.

 

I got to play with CR MC on Weds on the 5S on the way to the House of Blues. She had some graphic work on the doors and jack (Nightmare before Christmas) on her window. She was cute too.
