Was at the OC Swap Meet today and saw 2 - yippee! A CR/Black in the parking lot, and as my friend and I were pulling out of the parking lot in her boring Volvo, an EB/EB was turning in. We waved like crazy and he waved back. :smile: Gosh the EB looked sooooo beautiful!

1) DS/ Blk MCS with checkered bonnet stripes on Manhattan Beach Blvd (downtown). I'm guessing this guy is a resident because I've seen this here a couple times

2) CR/W MCS with red checkered roof also on Manhattan Beach Blvd (near the Northrop plant)

both of those were in the morning around... 8 (i was leaving the beach and on my way to school haha)

3) CR/W MC on Crenshaw near Torrance Crossroads at 3 in the afternoon

I live in the Silverlake/Echo Park area and there are at least 3 MINIs parked in front of neighbors homes. One neighbor has a red Classic Mini parked next to an SUV... the size difference is awesome!!!. I've also seen a new gold MC zipping around the hills here as well as a rust-orange colored Classic Mini. I will be joining my neighbors in a month or so when I get my little black beauty! I can't wait!!

I saw the Red Bull mini last week in the valley at a store opening. It was on Balboa, just south of Devonshire. They cut the roof behind the front seats and made it a notch back. Then the put a big can of Red Bull on the back of it. That's the best looking can of Red Bull I've ever seen. I wonder if they have it feeding directly into the gas tank.

 

so is the red bull powered mini faster than the rest, since it has more energy?

How about an EB/Blk w/ blue leopard/hawaiian print - wait that's me! Every morning going south on PCH near Jamboree. Today spotted a yellow taxi gal on my tail - but didn't wave.

 

I saw a silver/black cooper heading southwest on Alverado just past Echo Park this morning, 7:40 AM. Doing the morning commute madness.

 

(Last Tuesday... 9.23.03) DS/B MCS with quiksilver exhaust in Torrance Crossroads around 3 PM... I waved but he just kinda gave me a quick glance

EB/W MCS coming off of the 405 N on the Main St. exit in Carson... around 8 AM

On Sunday Sept 31 in the parking lot of Super AutoBacs in Stanton I saw a BRG/W classic Mini with a roof rack.

The same day in the same parking lot I saw a Yellow/White new MINI

The other day in Rancho Cucamonga I saw a VR/VR MINI with dark tinit going up DayCreek ave.

Anyone wanna claim these minis?

Today in the parking lot of my school Cal Poly Pomona I saw another BRG/W mini just like mine! It had tinted windows and assael mini dealer plate frames. I was gonna leave a note on the window but it was raining and I didnt want it to smear on the nice mini.

I also saw a CR/CR with tinted windows on the 57 freeway, and a BRG/BRG mini on the 10 freeway today.

 

Last Friday I drove to Vegas. I stopped at State Line and in the parking lot of the casino I saw an MCS with CA plates and a Manhattan MINI lisence plate frame. It was a nice lookin Blu/W with aftermarket rims. I parked my Y/W MCS nearby and when I came back the B/W was gone. Hope you had a nice time in Vegas!!

sure did! most of my attention went to the D1 cars and that Renault (even though i've seen them all already haha)

hmm... odd... i haven't seen another mini in 2 days o_O ... there's usually a couple in cal state LB, prolly see those tomorrow

 

Hello all SoCAlers....I live in Corona, Riverside and work in Costa Mesa, Orange...surprisingly there seems to alot of MINI's in Corona, my kids and I spot different colors all the time.
The 91 frwy has a few in the rush hr's, I've seen yellow, blue, red, silver regularly.
My work parking structure has 3 (mine included), mine(red), white and black.

Not exactly common, but not rare sightings anymore.

Oh, by the way, CREVIER BMW had a MINI caravan drive a couple weeks back on a Saturday morning, maybe that's what you saw.

Also, there is an excelent classic mini in Corona as well. BRG with a white back-slash and #8(I think) meatball decal on each side. I've seen it a couple of times in my area.

2) LY/B about 2 minutes behind #1
3) IB/W MCS with white stripes (made eye-contact!) heading North on the 5 near San Onofre @2:14 PM
4) DS/B MCS about 1 minute behind #3
