At the Midnight showing on the opening night of Return of The King I saw a BRG/W MCS in front of edwards with a sticker on the back window that said FootHill and had a little sticker of Yoda...anyone from NAM? I've raced this Mini before

 

I saw an Electric Blue MCS near Long Beach City College today.
Just got my Mini.

 

We saw a black/white S yesterday afternoon around 2:30 going south on 5 - Carlsbad area. Also see an all Chili Red one in Del Mar everyday.. :smile:

:smile: BRG with black stripes pulling into the Auto Show parking lot in San Diego (we went too). A CR/B S parked downtown SD on Market St. near the Convention Center and a LY a few blocks from there parked on a side street.... :smile: :smile: Anybody here???

Who was in Trabuco Canyon tonight around O'Neil Park? CR/W MCS, I think. Saw you about sunset enjoying the twisties like I was.

 

Around noon today I'm coming north on the 605 and I get off at Del Amo. Just as I head east on Del Amo (in my white over Indi Blue with Union Jack sun roof) I see a white over black with Union Jack sunroof west on Del Amo and getting on the 605 to go northbound. If one of the trucks I had just passed on the freeway had spotted me getting off and then "me" getting back on again, they would have freaked out at how quick these Minis can change colours.

3 today while rolling through between Redondo and Manhattan Beach.

1) IB/ W with white stripes (like mine!)... and I think the plate said something like "1CAMINI"
2) DS/B with the plate USCMINI
3) obviously a classic cooper sitting under a tarp in Hermosa Beach

any claims?

I aslo saw a CR/W rolling out of Torrance Crossroads on monday night i think... mog4d?

Last Sunday VR/W(? i think) NB 5 in Oceanside around 10:30 am.
About a week ago in the Encinitas/Olivenhein area I saw;
LY/B, BRG/W, VR/B, and EB/W MCS (nice chatting with you, if you're here) all on same day, but not same time or place. That was a record day for me.

Look, I'm not bitching and moaning, I'm just wondering if I have my stealth shield down and don't know it. As far as I can tell after trawling through all 6 pages, nobody (I mean nobody!!) has spotted me yet. Are you people blind or what?

In your defense, I drive almost the same route everyday, so if you don't go where I go then I suppose that answers that. But I do venture "off the beaten track" every now and then. I pass Minis and either flash 'em, give a thumbs up, or wave (very few waves as it's not my style, sorry). Most don't even acknowledge and I just say to myself, "Oh a Mini employee using the company car on a lunch break". But there are a few regulars I see around these parts and not one has mentioned seeing my mini yet. Must not be members here is all I can think.

These days, you'll hear me before you'll see me. So if I need to start a new thread "So Cal Mini Hearings" let me know.

Saw your earlier post about being on 605. We must have different hours.
I go south on 605 every morning then use it (northbound) on my return trip home in the afternoon.

I'll keep a closer eye peeled.

Don't let that earlier post throw you off. I cross over the 605 westbound on Del Amo every morning and come back eastbound around noon. It just so happened I was exiting the 605 on that particular day. As you can imagine, I try to avoid actually driving on it. I'll look down and try to spot ya.

How 'bout that! I exit the 605 eastbound every morning to stop for coffee at the donut shop by Del Taco on Del Amo and Pioneer. If you see a cop standing in front of a MINI, it would be my cousin shootin' the sh*t with me.
How early do you pass by? I'm usually passing that middle school around 7:30 on slow days.

There's a BRG/W MC I pass sometimes going southbound on the 605- same blonde female driver each time.

What a small world! (Well I suppose it's not that small, we ARE in So Cal Mini Spottings now that I think about it). I stop in that same donut shop every single day, Mon-Fri to buy a bottle of water and a newspaper before I go the gym. I pull in at precisely 11:55, 11:58, or 12:03 (depending on my mood). That's on my e/b run. I have a confession to make about my w/b run...I don't take Del Amo, I take 195th which is slighty north and runs parallel to Del Amo. This is due to the traffic caused by the school you mention. Loads of cops hang out at an eatery right in that same shopping center by the pizza place on the corner of Pioneer and Del Amo.

I'll alter my route next time I'm passing at 7:30 and say hello. My usual w/b time is 7:15 but I can be late one day in the interest of all things Mini.

black Cooper S with a white stripe down the center. on the 110 freeway. and a DS MINI with what looked like an Oricari body kit? there aren't too many of these kits in socal.. Any takers? (also on the 110)

 

Today, about 4:10 pm a LY/LY MCS parked on n/b side of San Elijo just a couple blocks south of Chesterfield. Nice day at the beach, eh? :smile:

Couldn't tell if it was MC or MCS 'cause of the freeway median. (I was eastbound.)
