Shortly after noon today. MC, CR/W, obvious CVT. On Santa Margarita Parkway turning onto Alicia.

 

Last week I saw a DS/B MCS in Santa Barbara off Patterson

 

White over Indi MC with bonnet stripes N/B 405 going through Long Beach at about 10:45 am today. Nice sounding horn you have there, sounds a lot like mine strangely enough. Nice choice on your colours too.

Bit out of your neighbourhood weren't you? Brecht Mini paper plates, just picked it up?

Day before yesterday- northbound 605: Cyclop MINI, you're passenger-side headlamp was/is out
(too dark for me to tell if it was Dark Silver or Silk Green)

Wow this past Saturday there were a bunch of you on PCH beginning in Carlsbad all the way to Del Mar: PepperWhite, IB/W Cooper no spoiler parked on El Camino Real, Brand New Pepper White from Brecht, Chili Red/Black, IB/W Cooper, EB/W S, All Yellow S coming off old 395 to Bonsall. Everyone out having a good drive before the rain came!

 

It was a 2 MINI day this afternoon! White over Chili Red MCS (never caught up to see if any bonnet stripes) on northbound 5 fwy about 1:55pm, you got on at Del Mar Heights Road, and white over BRG MC east bound on Encinitas Blvd about 2:30pm.

Hi Donna / mike how's everything? actually I'm the one you met. I have the DS/B. I was on my way to the hosp to visit some friends(staff not patients). I know there is another mini on base (off hand his NAM name is MSX-5 or something like that). On the way home we talked about a possible ride on Sun you still interested? I'll post on the yahoo group to see if anyone is interested.

 

 

Many MINI Day today! About 11:30a.m., wht over CR MCS with white bonnet stripes, looked like Crevier paper plates on back, at intersection of El Camino Real and Encinitas Blvd, about noon, black over IB MCS (blk bonnet stripes I think) at car wash on El Camino Real, and another new white over CR on El Camino (Carlsbad) sometime in the afternoon, between noon and 3:30p.m., looked like Crevier plates on that one too, but no bonnet stripes.

Yellow MINI day today in SD county. LY/W MC on south bound 5 fwy near Manchester about 8:30 this a.m., and LY/B MC parked near UCSD this afternoon.

This last weekend I went up to Thousand Oaks from Cerritos. Took the 91, 605, 5, and then 101 freeways. Not a single Mini all the way there. On the way back I took the 101 to Kanan Road, PCH, 10, 110, 105, 710, 91. I counted about 15 on the way back (way too many to list colours, etc). Most along PCH in Malibu.

One had a North Carolina plate and the guy had a flat cap on. Strange looking dude that never, ever looked sideways to see if I was flipping him off or giving a thumbs up.

Anyway, had fish and chips in the King's Head in Santa Monica, and then walking back to the car in the lot across the street there was a White over Chili Red with bonnet stripes MCS. Guy driving, lady passenger. I was on the driver's side and I spoke briefly asking how long he'd had the car, like it, etc, etc? He seemed clueless, but the lady had her head hanging over towards the window and was trying to talk. I reckon it was her car and he was the "uninterested in Mini's" boyfriend.

Dump him.

This afternoon in Olivenhein (if you know where this is, I know you live around here...

IB/W (looked new) on Lone Jack RD, I flashed the peace sign as I went by, but I don't think you noticed.
Maybe because I wasn't in a MINI, I was in my truck.

This afternoon- Liquid Yellow/White MC in left-turn lane on Carson Street & Pioneer in Hawaiian Gardens.

 

I just missed the light heading north on El Camino Real at Encinitas Blvd this morning at about 8:40 and saw A BRG/W making a U-turn on ECR, a DS turning left (east) onto Encinitas Blvd, A CR/W turned right from Encinitas Blvd North on ECR, and a CR/CR also headed north on ECR turning left from Encinitas Blvd.

Four MINIs as I waited for the light to change.

 

MINICD, are you around this area often, I don't hink I've seen you! You wouldn't notice me, 'cause most of the time I'm driving my GMC p/u. (My MINI order is waiting to be placed through Classic)

But just after 9am this morning I did see BRG/Wht (same one as you saw yesterday, maybe?) near the Barnes & Noble of El Camino Real in Encinitas, and ths afternoon a CR/CR MC on n/b 405 frwy, actually El Toro 'y' area just before noon, no plates but a decal on the rear window of something with horns on it's head.

North San Diego county area; this morning e/b Encinitas Blvd EB/W MC with roof racks, n/b El Camino Real near Home Depot in Encinitas and this afternon at the Spring Home & Garden show a SG/W and a LY/B MC. What a great day!

At least 3 out of 5 days a week during my morning commute I see the same Chili Red/ White top MINI going the opposite direction on Lynn/Olsen in Thousand Oaks. The funny thing is when I'm on time I see this MINI pass by, and when I'm late, I still see this MINI (sometimes stopped at the same light in the opposite direction!), and when I'm earlier than usual, we still pass. The cooincidences are amusing! Are you out there?! Guy, brunette, 20-30's, no passenger. The silver MINI on the other side of the median sees you- wave or honk "hi" sometime!
