funny cause today i was out in TO going to my dentist, and when i was leaving (rancho exit by the way) i saw a chili red on white w/ white rims with an older guy in it, he said hi to me, maybe it was the same guy...

Must be, saw him again a couple of days ago. Today I had a CR/W MCS pull up next to me at the Shell station near El Camino Real & Leucadia (ouch, I was filling up the truck!) and what looked to be Black with white roof on n/b El Camino in Carlsbad, about 9:30 am.

if he/she doesn't take the time to wash the car. I doubt he/she spends the time to watch the boards. Most of us who love the car enough always handwash and never take the MINI to a carwash, check MCO, MINI2, TMMZ, Roadfly, etc. to check out detailing tips and interact with the MINI community. I doubt someone who neglects the car will care enough to read this board.

 

You shoulda came out to village coffee roasters last week dude...my mini was covered with mud and brake dust!

I agree that the owner/driver most likely is not a member of any of the on line groups. A very unobservant driver, typical of Mission Viejo. That poor MCS has been so neglected. I really think it needs a new home where can be loved, appreciated and properly cared for.

I'll make it to a VCR gathering one of these Sundays. Too many obligations until April except for the Shoot Out on the 28th.

 

 

at around 3:30 pm on the 11th i saw a CR MCS w/ white bonnet stripes, older guy driving, it was on ventura right near in'n'out (woodland hills), he definately saw me as i was pulling out of a parking lot

About lunch time today, Encinitas off El Camino Real in Mountain View Plaza parked in front of Bahia Tan, MCS. The lighting was really weird today, I really can't remember if it was PS/PS or DS/DS. This afternoon, Rancho Santa Fe road southbound, CR/CR

This morning, about 8:30 on 5 fwy near Garnet. CR/W MC. Did I see anybody here?

I must be seeing the same MINIs over and over, because none of the cars I see belong to NAM members. Today, while giving me a ride home, my neighbor asked me to point out a MINI, because she doesn't know what they look like. "Sure, if we happen to see one" says I. ( I really didn't expect to see any.)
20 minutes later, at gas station on corner of Via de la Valle and Jimmy Durante Blvd I point out a LY/W MCS. 5 minutes after that we spot a CR/W with bonnet stripes headed south on Coast hwy (or whatever its called there) in Solana Bch, and then nearer home on Rancho Santa Fe a CR/W with bonnet stripes, checkered roof and roof racks.

Anyway, now my friend knows what MINIs look like.

We must have just missed you. We were at dog beach and left at about 5:45. As we left in out IB/W MINI headed south, another IB/W MINI was on its way north.

This afternoon I saw BRG/Wht w/wht bonnet stripes MCS in Solana Beach. Mebbee seen this one before, but don't remember any bonnet stripes.

This morning, about 8:30am, Manchester on-ramp to south bound 5 fwy. Sistah, I saw that dude in the siver F150 cut you off, people can be so rude getting on the freeway there. DS/W MCS sunroof, nice wheels.
