My kid is going out to CSUN in a couple of weeks for a baseball camp for the weekend, I am going to drive extra while I am out there in hopes to get a flash by Goldilocks.

 

i was out by CSUN today, didnt see any minis tho.
only see fronjoni at pierce every so often.

 

ill be up and down the 91 and 15 between riverside co and orange co tuesday

maybe ill finally get spotted :D

 

Okay, so I took the initiative last night & this morning to be the waver, and nothing!! Maybe last night it was to dark, but this morning I waved at three MINI's and one would not turn his head, I was right next to him, another pulling out of a driveway looked at me like I was retarded, and to be fair to the third, I was screaming past him going the other way up Topanga Cyn. I have a long drive daily from San Pedro to Calabasas back and forth, out at 6AM coming home after 5PM, I use PCH quite a bit, as well as the 101 & 405 so if you see my CoB Cabrio, TPLS BLR, please give me a wave.

 

I waved to some on the 210 last night... they where in the carpool lane and waved back!!

 

No ones waved at me yet, but ive had my mcs since august.
cmon guys!

I work at CBS in Studio City and see tons of mini's in the structure. I wonder if any of the people who also work there are on this site. Amber Stevens who is one of the stars on Greek actually drives a pepper white mini.

Went up to my brother's graduation ceremony at Pepperdine and brought the iPod nano/video along. I saw a few but this is the only one I actively remember seeing and trying to follow (this was coming back down along PCH around 2:00). Unfortunately traffic was slow and he/she was quickly getting through it (and the nano's lens is pretty wide angle), this is probably the closest image I got:

was behind a yellow/white last night heading east on Chatsworth-pulled up beside her & honked twice - hope she got my message! It was too dark for her to see me wave

 

Spotted an Mini owner in a NON-MINI... I think it was the MINIs4Kids.org sticker that gave him away!! Ed was that u!!!!

On the west 210 around 9am

 

This morning, while getting stuck in the daily traffic jam on the NB 805, I think it was around Clairemont: a PW/B MINI driven by a female pulls up next to me, me in lane 1 and her in lane 2. I look over, she looks over, and we both waved at the same time!

 

on the 8 west the exit before college ave, yesterday around 5:45/6:00pm there were TWO others Minis driving next to me! Both clubbies, one was I think red with silver and it was too dark to tell on the other one. The second one that i don't remember the color had it's windows tinted and I have mine tinted, so I have no idea if they waved or not, but the first was a no wave!

 

On Wilshire Blvd, yesterday, early evening, mass traffic, 1st one, a kid in his brand new mini S, an enthusiastic wave & thumbs up. 2nd one a few minutes later, a woman in her clubbie, only after she was stuck next to me for a while finally gave a reluctant wave.

I went down to Torrance and back yesterday, and I saw a LOT of MINIs. Three stood out in my mind:

1. In the American Honda parking lot, there was a white R53 MCS with a license place that said LILYPTN. I thought that was awesome.

2. In Torrance on Crenshaw Blvd by the 405 fwy, I saw a brand new CR MCS going the other direction. I even got the wave from the driver!

3. Driving home at around 7 or 7:30 on the 101 N through the valley, I was driving next to a PW R56 MCS for a while. I was trying to wave to the driver and frolic through traffic (similarly to how dolphins frolic through the waves), but I think she may have thought I was some nut... Oh well.

Overall, it was a good day for the MINIs in SoCal.
